@erin_simmer I overall don't like Krafton, not with the stunt they pulled with subnautica 2, also about the use of generative AI. But yea, just because you don't see anything about Inzoi it doesn't mean the game is dead, just not in your circle.

Tbh, I don't understand the commentary that #InZOI is dead and has already failed, and that #paralives will join it.
1. InZOI continues to get updates and substantial ones and has a player base
2. One delay does not mean a game is never going to happen.

I want artists or even non artists of varying skill levels to trace the same 3D model and make a piece from it. I want to see what would happen lol.

.... huh??? Literal professional freelance and industry artists use 3D models.. are we so serious right now?? I'll never understand the animosity towards artists that use legitimate tools. This is not doing the work for you, you still need to have a basic understanding of perspective, how to draw hair, clothing, etc. It still takes the same amount of work but with visual assistance. Can we get with it, art community? Seriously, it's been decades.

@erin_simmer @CakePiiee I once saw a video that was saying that the internet skews how outraged people are. There are likely millions of simmers, we only see a handful of people complain.

@CakePiiee true! saying this is not an endorsement either.. it's just saying that social media bubbles do exist. and many many players of sims are not active on sims socials, either. So without real metrics, it's very hard to know actual player sentiment statistically

I think people really underestimate how many people play sims and how many people don't have mods or cc in their game. Just look at any Facebook group, so it's not surprising that it's doing well

@erin_simmer it's not just the sims community, it's everywhere. The sims community has just gotten really bad about it. The internet especially after covid has gotten extremely toxic.

@TheSimCommunity I launched the game just to turn my mods on then restart. The first launch I got that error and then second time I didn't... Nothing in my mods folder had changed.

@MoyiGlow @cloverbungames This is actually common. If EA can no longer make money off the sims. Instead of trying to fix things, they will shut them down... My hope is that they just separate the studio and it gets picked up. I mean look at what happened with sims city.

@Pirat_Nation I went to college for programming and we were doing group projects. One group near the end of completing their found out a game had just come out with the same exact concept, like it was insane how similar they where. I think once the projects where done they pivoted.

The concept of Sims being aware of us and calling us "The Watcher" was always so good to me. It's a shame the game doesn't play into it outside of one spin-off. 😫

@SimMattically I just assume all UI mods are broken, I know RPO is broken. I'm just going to take all my mods out, repair my game and just play vanilla (with cc) while I wait. I typically make a new household since my current one has lots of mods attached.

@jdotkdot5 It does, I have mine be very catered towards me which I like. Gives a far more piece of mind. I only go on twitter mostly because a lot of game companies are still here. Though interesting enough D&Dbeyond went to bluesky.

@kiracrowe_ I use it, you have to curate your feed. There are feeds you can follow. I follow 5 or 6 art feeds, then some artists, allow for reposts to show up and you will see even more. It's not really drama filled for me, rarely i see politics. It feels far more controlled.
