Attending @scalarconf was exhilarating. Great talks, lots of food for thought, and most of all, meeting and talking to many great people. There’s a lot of innovation going on in Scala right now, this is exciting. I leave with a lot of ideas. The coming months are gonna be busy!

I've been working on and off on a few large new modules for Kyo. I typically work on specs and feedback loops before bed and let the agents running at night. It's been great to explore the problem space but the result is always spaghetti code. It kinda works but has a lot of unhandled edge cases, breaks random stuff when adding new features, and the code size 📈 I typically end up rewriting from scratch step by step in detail with the agent when I have more time. The reduction in code size is orders of magnitude. Agents definitely speed things up but they have a lot of trouble to write simple and reliable code without close assistance At the same time, the capability to write good code seems there with close prompting. I suspect a main issue is the amount of bad quality code in the training set giving us this averaged behavior
