"Death has always been a natural part of life. things live, they die, then the cycle begins anew." let's herself morph back into her 'skin suit.' she was really going to need a new name for that. her Rio suit? but that was just her out of reaper form. "it can be that simple-

"I never did quite understand why people think it a delicate subject." she would shrug. "so learn to control it."

she would watch as the other seemed to relax. people feared her for no reason. she was the merciful one. "that's better. no need to fear me." her head would straighten as she looked Sarah over. "it is only a curse because you do not understand it."

"oh no. as i am the cosmic entity of Death, i cannot kill. though i can still hurt people. Killing is what my many gods and goddesses of death are for." Rio would reach a finger up to boop Sarah on the nose. "because if you share your mothers abilities, you are destined for-

"a bit of both, if I am being honest. and right now, I am in a good mood." her head would tilt the other way. "I wonder... do you share your mothers gift?"

"she is one, yes. but not the only." her eyes remained unblinking. something so trivial, unnecessary for her.

"deep down, I believe you do." her eyes would meet Sarah's. unblinking.

she would step up right behind Sarah. voice no more than a whisper. "I think you know the answer to that question already."

"I was... in the neighborhood." Rio would respond. voice low as she stood behind Sarah.

"was that so difficult?" she would respond as she began to slowly walk around Sarah.

"Then call me by my title." She would tilt her head slightly as she stepped towards Sarah.
