@calebkleveter There were other moments of humour too! Our whole theatre chuckled when the Bene Gesserit leader was meeting with Baron Harkonnen and sent his giant insect pet running. It was completely apropos and didn't detract, as you said, but added to the story.

I know I'm late to the DUNE discourse but for three hours now I've just been marvelling over how many people complained about the lack of humour in this epic galactic tragedy about the rise of a hubristic genocidal false messiah featuring the deaths of 50% of the cast

@nixcraft My biggest hookup was the configuration UI after using YAML files for systems like CircleCI and GitHub Actions, but the new Pipeline system solves that for me.

Why does Jenkins have a bad reputation? Why do you hate it? I loved it, but I would like to know your reasons. Or is it just one of that misinformation about CI software?

I just read "divining rod" and didn't know what that means. What is divining? One thing that I stopped doing is translating the unknown English word into my motherlanguage to understand what it means. Instead I started Google searching the explanation in English. It helps 😊!

@suzannahtweets This was the trailer for Afterlife, before the release date got pushed. You know, I’ve decided I liked it because I enjoy seeing children in a state of either bewilderment, wonder, or awe, and the Afterlife trailer had a couple of each.

@calebkleveter was that for the all-women Ghostbusters? The only thing I know about that is Chris Hemsworth's Mike Hat scene which was pretty hilarious.

For me, a person who has never seen a Ghostbusters film in my life, watching the new Ghostbusters trailer before ETERNALS was a really weird experience. it's like, I have no IDEA what this movie is but it clearly expects me to fall into a worshipful nostalgia fit
