@SenSanders No, & I'm NOT OK with not having socialized healthcare, either! People shouldn't have to go bankrupt because they or their spouse/child/parent got sick! No one should EVER have to return to work ASAP after giving birth! Some don't even take a week off! No bonding time is BAD!

@oldivory I had good results using cannabis, saint john's wort, meditation and "creative visualization" of the me I'd like to be. I try to skip sad or negative media. Be like Maya Angelou-- don't allow negativity in your home and work environments-- as much as you can. It really DOES help!

Doc gave me a mild dose of an antidepressant & in 4 days I turned into Charlotte Manson. I threw the darned things away.

@AnaKasparian Beautiful rant! I've ranted those very words myself. I wish those who would force their religious beliefs on others should have someone else's religious beliefs forced upon THEM. They can't understand that THEY may not ALWAYS be the arbiters OF THE RULES we all live by.

@ladyotl I've donated & supported a local US congressional candidate (CA-01) by doing a podcast-style interview that I posted on Daily Kos back in '12. But we STILL can't get rid of our useless evangelical, climate denying, constituent ignoring, sorry excuse for a congress critter.

@OakFoSho I agree with you. I would be perfectly fine with CA being its' own sovereign nation. We've already got a foreign policy, the fifth or sixth largest economy world-wide, & largest US state by population. We could save a LOT of money by keeping California's tax money IN California.
