However, my background in soccer and, as I read the original work and became a big fan, my desire to “play Seishiro Nagi” grew strong enough to far surpass those worries. Nagi is a character with a low emotional tone and is difficult to portray, so I deliberately avoided smiling and focused on conveying emotions through my eyes. The filming process was full of unfamiliar situations, and there were many moments where I felt overwhelmed. However, I was supported by Team V members Keito Tsuna and Kouhei Higuchi, as well as the lead actor Fumiya Takahashi and the rest of the cast and crew, and my anxieties gradually disappeared.
