@_Thrixian i am ecwa born and brought up, and such dressing/appearance is always frowned at or unacceptable back home.
it is quite interesting and shocking to see that ecwa has exceptions.

This is ECWA London... Hypocrisy or Doctrine? ⤵️
While some of us are busy labeling people as unrighteous and their churches as unworthy because they don’t meet your standard of holiness and righteousness, saying things like, “Women shouldn’t wear trousers to church; it’s a sin,” or labeling young men with dreadlocks who genuinely love Jesus as sinners. I have a few questions for those who hold these views on decency and modesty.
1. When Paul said that “a woman must cover her head when praying or prophesying” (a practice that, in some local churches, has been extended to the entire church service), was he addressing a Jewish congregation within their cultural context, or was he establishing a universal standard for all believers, regardless of culture and societal norms?
2. Should a woman still cover her head with a scarf if she is already wearing a wig, can we classify the wig as a head cover too?🤦🏾♂️
3. Should we encourage women who have physical challenges or poor sitting manners, to wear skirts or gowns to church instead of trousers?
Finally, is the definition of sin determined by location? Because I honestly don’t understand.
Kespan once asked a question I’d love to share.
“Since most women wear pyjamas to sleep and most pyjamas consist of a shirt and trousers they often wake up and have their morning devotions dressed that way, believing God hears and answers their prayers. Likewise, most men pray in their shorts after waking up, believing God answers them too. Yet we are made to believe appearing before God in trousers or short trousers is a sin. Do we have a different God in our bedrooms from the One we worship in our churches?”
