The Nazis permitted private ownership as a form of subordination, while they maintained control over prices, production, and even the recipients of the products. Fascists rose to power by prioritizing the protection of profit incentives. Despite their differences, all three ideologies sought absolute control. Marxism outright seized it. Nazism permitted private property but controlled every aspect of business, except for the operational aspects. Fascism aimed to safeguard corporations, but Mussolini desired control. That’s why he allowed their existence as long as they ‘served the country’s interests,’ which essentially meant Mussolini’s interests. I actually know what I’m talking about.

Tell me the difference without googling it or using AI. Both believe in the collective benefit vs individuality. Both hated individual rights and liberal ideology. Both wanted everything to be state controlled, planning, social welfare, public infrastructure. Both governed with totalitarianism. Both hated capitalism. The sole difference is socialists who were Jews were doing a genocide against Orthodox Christians, and the nazis did the same to the Jews. A big difference is that socialists killed 50 million Christians (just in the Soviet Union) and nazis killed 6 million. I’ve been in Congress through divided governments, bitter fights, and historic crises. I’ve never seen anything like the last 24 hours. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson killed Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s bipartisan deal to fund the TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA.  It was a deal that had the support of Senate Republicans and Democrats alike, 100-0! Why? Because Johnson places his own political survival and fealty to Trump over all else, including long waits at airports or anything else. We could have passed it in the House easily if only Johnson had allowed the vote to proceed. But instead he blew up the whole thing. Where this goes next is anyone’s guess, but what’s very clear is that Johnson is the worst and most subservient speaker in modern American history.
