My opinion- IDAC was wrong to charge Gn Fannie Masemola for this when the associates of Vusi Matlala in the SAPS procurement were identified as Gn Molefe Fani and Brig Glenda Bokaba. This comes across as an attempt to remove Gn Masemola because he backed Gn Mkhwanazi & Khumalo

Those of us who have been following these processes closely, General Mkhwanazi said there's a fight back strategy from Cartel people inside SAPS who use IDAC to push their agenda. Hence cases against him sitting with IDAC and General Khumalo arrested by IDAC. Please go steady on such calls.

I honestly hope they wipe the floor with the prosecution. There is absolutely no way our General is being made to share the bench with the likes of Matlala. Where is the respect? I am fuming, man. They are trying to break him by humiliating him like this. This is an organised campaign, and you cannot convince me otherwise. I have a friend, who is like a younger brother to me. A genius Chartered Accountant who was once a CFO of a municipality some years ago. They tried to make him do wrong things like bo Mnisi, mainly his political principals. When he refused to sign off dodgy deals, they sent people to beat him up, fortunately he survived, created all kinds of charges against him, suspended him, and during one of those periods he was suspended, he studied law, got his LLB, left government forever. He is a practing Advocate, specializing in Corporate Law, Tax Law, he's just a hell of a genius. Moral of the story? They always say municipalities are collapsing because they don't have capacity and skilled people. Those with skills are either corrupted, if they refuse to be corrupted, they are killed, or they are lost to the private sector. Sad state of affairs we have in this country. #MadlangaCommission

If the vacancies (4000+ on the TMPD organisational structure) are not implementable, then why continue to have them there? Seeing as they were transferred when the reporting structure changed from the city to the TMPD, could it be that these were used for the ghost posts we so often hear about? If they cannot be filled, why not do away with them, because their being there just allows nefarious actors to continue with their underhanded activities. #MadlangaCommission

Yesterday I was in Katlehong and they had Loadshedding there. In Soweto, Dobsonville, they even have Loadshedding schedules and Abo Gogo and Aunties who often take care of families are left to bear the brunt. They call it Power Outages. The poor and vulnerable can never be forgotten whilst us in Suburbia Mzansi applaud on X! Journalists need to visit these communities and tell their stories, this is in now way being anti-government but we got to be honest about what does ‘328 days without Loadshedding’ mean in the real sense. #CountryDuty

Commissioner Faro was not listening to understand but to respond. Adv. Sikhakhane pointed out a potential gap in the process, which she took as a personal attack. The fact that she did not know about an SLA until after it was signed by DC Spies (who was standing in for her) is a clear gap because ultimately she is where the buck stops in her department. #MadlangaCommission #FYP

I find it difficult to believe that DC Spies did not communicate with Commissioner Faro (even if she was on leave) about the SLA. For an important process like this, it cannot be that Commissioner Faro had no idea about this SLA at all before going on leave. At best, this is a fib, but at worst, processes in Tshwane leave a lot to be desired. #MadlangaCommission #FYP

Commissioner Faro kept on being called out throughout the proceedings for not being forthcoming with the full role the TMP plays in the bidding process and that made her look very suspicious to me. Having the Commissioners extract the truth from you instead of you volunteering the info from the onset just isn't a good look. #MadlangaCommission
