Our Clinical Co-lead for Mental Health Professor Isobel Heyman spoke at the Liaison Faculty of the @rcpsych Annual Conference. She presented the @CambChildrens vision, with one delegate later describing it as 'the holy grail' of truly integrated physical and mental health care.

It will take 3 years to build @CambChildrens but this speedy animation, by our construction partner Bouygues UK, gives a great overview of the process. We will work with our partners @CUH_NHS @CPFT_NHS and @Cambridge_Uni to make this facility a reality for the East of England.

To mark Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Awareness Month, we spoke to @CambChildrens Lead Nurse Vicky Amiss-Smith and Charlotte Granville-George, @TeenageCancerTrust Lead TYA Cancer Nurse for the East of England, about the challenges young people face when they get a diagnosis.

Best-selling author @Jeffrey_Archer hosted a literary luncheon in support of @CambChildrens. He entertained guests with anecdotes from his 50-year writing career and signed copies of his new book. The event, organised by Peterborough Community Group and @ACTcharity, raised £4,500

For World Health Day, celebrating the power of science and health, we wanted to share a few words from Professor Sam Behjati's talk at our recent conference. As Director of the @CambChildrens Research Institute, Professor Behjati speaks about removing the siloes in healthcare.

The voices of children, young people, and carers are at the forefront of @CambChildrens project - and always have been. We were thrilled some of our youth and parent advocates joined a panel discussion, chaired by @xandvt, about coproduction and engagement. They did a great job!
