While he can mix his form, he’s been consistent enough this prep with a win and two placings from six starts and often runs on strongly when able to find his rhythm. Wide draw to overcome today.

💥 She’s back with a bang! 🔹 DUROVA resumes in style to win the 900m Skelletar Sprint Prelude @thebrookracing 💨 Carrying 63kg, the talented 4YO showed her customary speed to take up a prominent position and prove too strong late. 🖐️ Five wins from her first six starts with the stable ✨ 🤝 A big thank you to @NickHeywood8 who made the trip up to partner her to victory.

🔹 HULU Second-up after resuming at Dubbo, working home soundly. The 5YO mare is a five-time winner who loves Muswellbrook, with four of those victories coming here and three at this exact trip. She’s drawn the inside against smart opposition but will nevertheless take her opportunity to progress in this year’s series.

🔹 DUROVA Resumes after a standout first campaign with the stable highlighted by four consecutive wins. The 4YO mare has a good fresh record and also scored over this sharp 900m trip in provincial grade at Newcastle that campaign. She comes here off a recent trial and has all the credentials to make her presence felt from a good draw despite her big weight.

The 4YO’s form this prep has only been fair, but he gets the chance to stretch out in trip in easier grade. Nice to combine with Brooke Stower, who rode plenty of winners for the stable when riding regularly in the area.🏇🙌

Winner of 3 of 5 last prep, fitter now plus proven at Scone and shaping as a key contender as he builds toward Sunday week’s heat. 🔹 LIGHTNING SPEED @RacingJJJ mare coming from a tough return at Tamworth where she worked forward from wide and stuck on strongly. Narrowly beaten over this track and trip last prep and looks well placed to measure up again.

Races well fresh and this looks a solid starting point. 🔹 GHAZNAVI - 1600m BM58 -R6- At full fitness for another run at the mile after closing off well into 3rd at Scone. Consistent form and should be finishing off strongly if the tempo is genuine. 🔹 CALL ME TERRY - 1300m Country Boosted BM58 -R7- Second-up and fitter again after a sound return at Tamworth.
