You get paid on Friday and by Saturday you own a new air fryer, a skincare set, and a shirt you'll wear once.
Your brain was running on low dopamine all week. Payday doesn't just refill your bank account. It gives your brain permission to chase the hit it's been starving for.
The money isn't the trigger. The relief is.

@ManilowOliver Dope makes sense, is that Either $300-$500 base monthly?

It depends on a lot of variables, but using a campaign manager here’s how I would break it down:
5 creators > 60 posts per month. Post on TikTok and crosspost to IG = 300 total posts.
Pay creators some combination of retainer + bonus. Either $300-$500 base + $1/2CPM or $750 base + milestone bonuses at 50k / 100k / 500k / 1m etc…
With this small amount of creators I would have the campaign manager also create on the campaign. So he/she will be one of your 5 creators and you can add ~$1.5k to their retainer
All in: ~ $5.25k before bonuses

Campaign managers are absolutely crushing it on SideShift right now.
We’ve built the all-in-one flow for running UGC campaigns:
Brand signs up → hires a manager → manager runs the SideShift account → launches creator campaigns → starts generating millions of views
Founders spend less time managing creators, and more time running the business.
Managers are typically charging $2k–$4k+ per month

Before I built apps, I was a content creator.
One of my channels, STARLESS, grew to 2.3M subscribers, 1B views, and hit 1M subs in 75 days.
Then I heard the story of Cal AI’s founders, quit YouTube, and spent the next year building mobile apps.
Everything I learned about building and scaling apps is inside this article.
Give it a read.

I’m launching Stanley (AI Head of Content) on June 1, 2026.
Over the next 6-12 months, I'll grow it from $0 → $10M ARR.
In public.
(While running my $30M ARR business full time)
I will also be using only AI employees to do it, so you can copy the playbook.
I'll update this thread as I go. Bookmark it and follow along to hold me accountable 🤝

@Cernovich Very true. I used to work at DraftKings, but I switched teams from the dark side. I saw a lot of shady tactics firsthand, and now I’m on the other side—building Impause to protect people from the same exploitation I used to help enable.

This is the ADHD hyperfocus trap. You're not actually impulse-buying—you're impulsively committing to something, then hyperfocusing on the logistics (shipping, tracking) while the actual use never lands in your brain.
The gap between 'I want this' and 'I actually use this' is where most ADHD spending regret lives. Breaking that loop means catching the impulse before the tracking starts, not after the package sits on your shelf.
