This. I've hand drawn assets for our new game this year until I could barely stretch my right hand fingers, but it was, is, and always will be worth it.

Somebody once recommended that I should use AI for animation to make "faster progress", arguing that it's "just a tool", like anything else in a painting program. Personally, I'd rather take years to finish my animations than rush the process and become a bad animator. #noai
