“9-1-1 what’s your emergency?” “There’s someone in the house. He’s trying to kill me.” “Okay, what I want you to do is get to your ballroom.” “I don’t have a ballroom.” “…Then may God have mercy on your soul.”

The problem here is that there is empirical data to support both: “The President is so loathsome that he would stage multiple assassination attempts to boost his popularity” AND “The President is so loathsome that multiple people would genuinely attempt to murder him”

Oaks And Lions 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
The south door of St Saviour’s Church in Dartmouth is one of the finest medieval doors in England. It is oak, iron, faith, monarchy and craftsmanship held together in one extraordinary object. The door’s ironwork shows a great Tree of Life spreading across the oak. Around it are two leopards, symbols associated with the Plantagenets, worked into the design with remarkable medieval skill. The date 1631 appears on the door, but that is not its true beginning. This marks a later refurbishment. The oak itself was carbon-dated in the 1970s and was found to have been felled before 1372. A door made before Chaucer had finished his Canterbury Tales. Still standing after more than six centuries. #EnglishHistory #MedievalHistory #EnglishHeritage

"Hannibal Lecter had an unreservedly harsh reputation." Pol Pot's regime murdered, tortured, starved 1.5 to 2 MILLION Cambodgian. They slammed babies against trees to kill them and dug mass graves to throw them in. They're also responsible for the Ba Chúc massacre: look it up...
SKULLCRUSHER@x26457474

@TheNameofWar Pol Pot has an undeservedly harsh reputation among conservatives. They hear someone say commie they stop thinking. He hated modernity he hated liberals he was an ethno nationalist he wanted to retvrn. Very reactionary. Not monarchist not what anyone would pick as ideal but based

Bruh. AI is telling people that the place I work at has donuts. We have never had donuts and people are believing the AI and confidently calling us to order donuts. Its even making up varieties of donuts that dont exist and telling people we have them.

Mini donkeys are highly social and affectionate, often described as having "puppy-like" personalities. In this case, the mini donkey calls the golden retriever to spend some time playing with him.
