Camillus Police Department prays for the recoveries for the officers who were shot last night, their families and victims that were injured responding to that domestic type incident last night.

We are especially grateful for our wonderful community & the partnerships that help keep our communities safe every day. Our thoughts are with our first responders, dispatchers & military members who are away from their families on this day and we thank them for their sacrifices.

The railroad company made QUICK work of this one! The arms are back up, and the road is open. Thank you again for your patience as we work through getting this rectified

The railroad arms are malfunctioning at Milton Ave and Horan Road. The rail company has been advised and on their way to investigate the incident. This will cause a temporary road closure until they are fixed. Please plan accordingly to access business and Rt. 695N.

Traffic alert West Genesee near Westland is down to one lane for westbound traffic and eastbound is still open for both lanes as DOT makes repairs to the road after the discovery of a sinkhole. Repairs should be done by early afternoon today.

Traffic alert Horan Road from Milton Avenue will be shut down due to damage to the railroad tracks. If you are trying to get on 695N you’ll need to use an alternate route until further notice.

It’s that time of year again!!! At West Genesee Central School District Onondaga Road Elementary started their September Safety Patrol. Each 4th grade classroom has 3 students participating after completing an application/contract to be part of the Safety Patrol. #schoolsafety

🚨Alert🚨 Crash investigation in the Village Of Camillus. All roads leading into the Village Of Camillus are closed until further notice as we conduct our crash investigation. 

As summer continues and we spend more time with family and friends, the @camilluspoliceny will continue to spend extra time on the roads during the 100 deadliest Days of Summer, ending on Labor Day. Please have a plan, don’t drive buzzed or intoxicated.
