People acting like we’re still in 2023 when it comes to COD HQ. All past games are just now separate installs that you happen to be able to launch into from COD HQ. COD HQ will just update to the updated engine with MW4 when it launches. Idk why people thought it was going away.

@campingmerchant “COD HQ” IS MW4 when MW4 launches. Any game like BO6/BO7/MWIII/MWII will be separate installs within Battle Net that you can cross launch into through the HQ if you want but it’s not actually necessary.

At least with BO7 they’ve hooked the hardcore/comp side of the community with the game. MW4 has to somehow win those guys over + get casuals back with COD is back type hype. Hard ask in a year with a lot of games + GTA 6 coming out around it. We don’t even know if it’ll be on game pass still too so even harder for them if there’s no game pass access for players on PC/Xbox.
