On the flip side owning a home is more about building wealth; a home once well maintained will be left for generations after also the equity built up over time can be hedged for other stuff in the future; education; medical expenses; business loans etc.

no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you

Well a lot of people benefit from government so it’s the largest employer directly and indirectly.

@camsupportsit Honestly that’s it, it’s how they allocate the resources that makes them different; the PLP places a stronger emphasis on social welfare and larger government size. The FNM places more focus on fiscal responsibility and reducing government size.
