How to decrease drooling? If drooling is related to weak muscles (as determined by a doctor, S-LP) some oral-motor therapy by an S-LP can be recommended. Try to keep the child’s head upright or slightly tilted back by using visual or verbal reminders to help with positioning.

Why is my child drooling? Most children stop drooling around 18 months. This can be a normal occurrence in the first 6-18 months. Some typically developing children drool until 4 years of age. Lean more: speechtherapycentres.com
