Nearly eight months after Israel launched a brutal military offensive into the governorate, which was hosting over a million displaced Palestinians at the time, dozens of people attempted in the early hours of Sunday to make their way home to Rafah.
On the first day of the ceasefire, residents, civil defense members and the mayor of Rafah described to Mada Masr a city in ruins, so flat that they could see Israeli tanks stationed near the Philadelphi Corridor at the southern most point of Gaza. While residents came under fire from Israeli tanks, municipality members tried to take stock of the destruction and call for urgent assistance in managing the disaster zone that the governorate has been made into.

@MakeYourBedd I can sense the discipline and the commitment the SEAL practice and the high moral they preach. Yet I feel sorry for them as they are being played by politicians, invading Iraq and invading Afghanistan was not for humanity !
