@WhiteHouse Does this mean you’re canceling the OPT program?

@WhiteHouse The WH controls the OPT program and can shut it down anytime they want. Well, do it. Put American students back to work.

"Chinese anchor babies bombing American military bases is actually what the founders envisioned, chud. Also the President is allowed to grant legal status to millions of illegals with a phone app and his successor isn't allowed to cancel it. It's called originalism, btw."

SCOOP: A man and a woman who entered the United States illegally three decades ago were arrested by the DHS this month after their adult children brought an explosive device to a military base with intent to harm, @realDailyWire can first report. dailywire.com/news/exclusive…

@DavidAFrench Wrong. The SJC has consistently allowed restrictions on other Amendments, like The 2nd, to reflect a "new world" despite the "same Constitution". There's no is reason other than political bias to accept the most permissive interpretation of the 14th Amendment.

There was an incredibly telling exchange between Chief Justice John Roberts and the solicitor general. “We’re in a new world,” Sauer said, because “eight billion people are one plane ride away from having a child who is a U.S. citizen.” Chief Justice Roberts’s retort was perfect — “Well, it’s a new world,” he said, but “it’s the same constitution.” In that one moment you saw the contrast between the MAGA legal philosophy and the legal philosophy of most of the justices. MAGA wants specific results, the justices interpret texts. And when MAGA’s argument contradicts the constitutional text, it’s almost always going to lose — as it has lost time and again before this court. nytimes.com/2026/04/03/opi…

@JonahDispatch No one has explained why the 14th amendment can't have modern and more restrictive interpretations to reflect modern society just like the 2nd does. There is no explanation that isn't purely political.

My warm take on birthright citizenship: Wholly defensible to be against it as policy and wholly reasonable to want to reform it in some way. Also intellectually defensible to say that the 14th amendment is being misinterpreted. Doesn't mean I agree, but I don't think it's crazy either. But even if you win that argument, you still need to deal with century+ of precedent and statutory language that codifies it and has created massive reliance interests. I consider it an open question whether Congress can repeal or modify birthright citizenship. I think it is absolutely nuts and dangerous to think a president can repeal it through executive order, and defending the E.O. because you agree with the underlying policy is itself indefensible. That's it. That's my take.

@ShadesOfBlueAn1 7% is insanely high. That's 1/14 residents walking around a city being foreigners from just a single type of visa. Even 1/100 is high considering these are supposed to be highly skilled people.

Woke right: H1Bs are everywhere, Costco is filled with them, Raj from doordash is H1B, cab driver is H1B, all Indian looking people are H1B Data: Typical concentration of H1Bs in any metropolitan area is around 0.5-1%. Even the highest is around 7%

@restoreorderusa @restoreorderusa People should ask every "conservative" Governor why they haven't ended H1b for public jobs yet. It's an obvious immediate step they can take.

The basic timeline of events: MTG asks for Trump's support in running for senate or governor, he says no, she feels spurned and begins countersignaling him, Trump misspeaks on H-1Bs, she introduces a bill that won't pass to spite him, pretends she's not jilted but just really wants the Epstein files released...the fact that people are buying this is absurd. I really need to lower my expectations when it comes to a lot of you.

why has it taken you a year to get around to this? you understand they're not only pushing us out of our own jobs, they're wrecking these American companies in the process? they're increasing prices constantly and offering less and less in return. we're being looted while we struggle to stay afloat.
