Total admittance, if anyone says not to use Wikipedia for research, they don't actually research stuff. Every video I do starts with Wikipedia. I get the broad strokes, a good overview, then I start combing through the references and linked bibliographies. Wikipedia will remain the GOAT for a diving off point in research

I wanted to say something about what happened recently at the Pokémon Center in Ikebukuro. It’s a beloved place of mine and I’m so sad for the staff member who lost her life, her family, and everyone involved. I read that it was her dream to work at the Pokémon Center. When I first moved to Japan that was one of the first places I visited and the staff were so excited, inviting and it felt like Disney with how bright and wonderful they were. They truly want to work there. And they always engage with customers when they can. And, when I ask them what’s their favourite Pokemon, you can hear the genuine love they have for the series. Moe, the staff member who sadly lost her life, said that her dream job was working at the Pokémon Center. She must have made so many people happy and really loved her job. I go to the Ikebukuro Pokemon center a lot and all the staff are always so kind. My heart goes out to her family and co-workers. Also, I saw people making fun of someone running to escape the situation when it occurred. Please, have some empathy.
