@SullyTalkz Naglesmann being at the WC should make no difference IF he the right man! Do people forget our players will in the WC too, and he would properly arrive at the club before them.

The manager situation has been one of uncertainty and confliction with a lot of fans confused on what the club are actually doing, so I'm going to try give a bit of an overview from what I've heard, as of the time i'm tweeting this. It's been very well reported that Michael Carrick is the favourite for the permanent role. A lot of people within the club like him due to his calm and composed personality and how's he's done since joining in January. The plan was always to appoint a permanent in the summer but he's done so well, he's being considered for the permanent role. One thing I've heard is that there is a level of hesitation and wariness amongst senior officials regarding Carrick. This doesn't mean he won't get the job, but there's concerns regarding whether he can play a sustainable brand of football long-term and be the man to win us trophies given his experience. I expect some level of formal talks with candidates in the near future however it's not inaccurate to say Carrick is in the lead. I also know this: Julian Nagelsmann is admired internally with some form of contact with his representatives held - just to see his availability and viability. #MUFC have liked him for years now and wanted him when ETH got sacked. Vivell has advocated for him internally. The main obstacle has always been and will be the world cup as the German manager is open to joining. Jason Wilcox, Omar Berrada and co all know this decision could potentially impact the club's futures for the next decade given the failure of how they dealt with the ten Hag and Ruben Amorim situation. This is why there has been a lack of movement and updates as they take caution with every step. 'Whatever decision they decide to do, it MUST be right', is the feeling internally.

Just read that legendary former #WxmAFC kitman Alan Jones has passed away. He retired in 2020 and was a hugely respected and well liked man in and around the dressing room. He always used his trusted shopping trolley to help with his matchday duties. RIP Alan 🕊

"It's the most I've enjoyed a game of football since I've stopped playing." 😁 Wayne Rooney loved his time at Wrexham on Saturday... but doesn't expect to be appearing with Deadpool again! 🕷️😂

Watched the highlights again just now and some of the Wrexham players were animals. Flying into tackles and then telling our players to get up and walk it off. Weirdos.

@henrywinter Never a red, Henry. It's dangerous for the game when reputable journalists start getting behind how soft this sport is becoming. The standards and consistency (see Dalot on Doku)have deteriorated since Howard Webb took charge and that's even after the embarrassment of Mike Riley.

Dobson not complaining and can’t. Speed and height of challenge were dangerous. Garnacho fortunate his leg wasn’t planted. Correct and swift use of VAR #WRECHE

@leedsthat Garnacho makes a meal of the challenge, Cuntarella is in the refs face asking for a red, which according to the rules, should be a yellow for him. Then weak Bankes gives the red. 3 games in a row he issued wrong red cards. Leeds, Newcastle & Wrexham.

Ollie rathbone was robbed by this dodgy handball. You can talk about teams buying leagues but Chelsea have spent at least £1 billion more than us the last 5 years, and we ran that game today.

Every team wants to get to the @premierleague but if that means putting up with VAR and prima Donna players rolling all round the pitch it’s a “no thanks !” From me !! @Wrexham_AFC can be very proud after that performance however!
