Pure propaganda to suggest they're getting a grip on asylum In 2025, the H.O. approved c. 60%-65% of asylum applications (incl. appeals) Portugal approved only 3% - 8%! Even France only approves c. 40%-50% Crucially, UK approves those who were REFUSED in EU countries The EU average is 36%, almost HALF our 60%-65%. The Home Office's high approval rating is a major pull factor. A significant percentage of certain nationalities (Eritreans, Afghans, Sudanese, Iraqis etc.) apply for asylum in the UK after having their applications rejected by other European nations Disgraceful for the Home Office to try to put a positive spin on this. There is no reason the UK can't be more like Portugal - other than a lack of political and civil service will.
Home Office@ukhomeoffice

Asylum decisions have quadrupled. The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019. More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

The Pattern That Demands an Answer. Is Starmer Compromised? There is a threshold in political commentary beyond which responsible analysis must go, even when the conclusion is uncomfortable. The question that this series of events now compels is not one any serious observer raises lightly. But the evidence, assembled piece by piece over months, makes it impossible to avoid. Is Keir Starmer compromised? That question deserves to be asked precisely rather than loosely. It does not assert that Starmer is an agent of a foreign power. It asks something narrower and more troubling. Whether the consistent pattern of decisions made by this Prime Minister on matters relating to China and Russia is compatible with the actions of a leader whose primary loyalty is to British national security. Consider what that pattern contains. Starmer attempted to surrender the Chagos Islands, handing Beijing strategic proximity to Diego Garcia that successive governments had refused to concede, before the deal collapsed under the weight of its own strategic incoherence. He allowed a China spy trial to collapse because his government refused to describe China as a national security threat in court, even as MI5 publicly declared it one. He approved the largest Chinese embassy in Europe, with a concealed underground chamber built within a metre of the fibre-optic cables carrying the City's financial data. He oversaw the Royal Navy's withdrawal from Indo-Pacific training at the precise moment China's navy became the largest on earth. He moved to relax accounting standards for Chinese companies listing in London, weakening City oversight for a state his own intelligence services treat as a strategic rival. Each decision was defended with the language of pragmatism and balance. Each delivered a strategic benefit to Beijing. Now add the Mandelson dimension. A man whose Chinese state enterprise connections alarmed American senators sufficiently to refer a dossier to the FBI. A man targeted by Russian intelligence for decades. A man who failed his developed vetting on grounds centring on his links to Russia and China. That man was placed in Washington with Strap Three clearance, giving him access to information that could endanger intelligence sources if leaked. The Prime Minister who placed him there had read a due diligence report flagging those exact concerns. Senior Whitehall sources say he was warned about the major risks and waved them away. The cumulative weight of these decisions defies innocent explanation through incompetence alone. A Prime Minister can make one catastrophic misjudgment about China. He cannot make six sequential decisions, each advancing Beijing's interests and retreating from Britain's, and ask the country to attribute it all to poor judgment. Two explanations exist. The first is that Starmer governs according to an ideological framework that genuinely regards Chinese engagement as opportunity rather than threat. The second is that something else is driving those decisions. Something that operates through networks, relationships and private arrangements that never fully surface in the public record. No commentator can answer that question definitively. Only a full independent inquiry, with access to intelligence material and the classified record of every decision documented here, can do that. What commentary can do is assemble the visible evidence and ask whether it is consistent with the leadership of a country that intends to defend itself. It is not. And the country deserves to know why.

Dearlove Is Shocked. He Should Be. But He Is Looking At The Wrong People. Sir Richard Dearlove, the former head of MI6, said yesterday he was shocked to learn that a senior Foreign Office civil servant had discussed Britain's nuclear deterrent in closed-door meetings with an organisation he describes as a front for China's main foreign spy agency. He called for parliamentary scrutiny of Stephen Lillie's meetings with the Grandview Institution during a four-day trip to Beijing last October. Dearlove is right to be shocked. He is looking at the wrong level. Lillie's meeting did not happen in isolation. It happened during what the Telegraph describes as a flurry of trips to Beijing by top British officials amid Starmer's deliberate thawing of relations with China. Sir Olly Robbins, subsequently sacked, lunched with Grandview experts the week before Lillie's visit. Jonathan Powell, now the Prime Minister's National Security Adviser, met Grandview before his appointment. Since becoming National Security Adviser in December 2024, Powell has met Wang Yi, the Politburo member directing Chinese foreign affairs, four times. His vetting arrangements have never been publicly confirmed. Every parliamentary question about those arrangements has been blocked. A civil servant discussing nuclear deterrent protocols with a Chinese spy agency front is alarming. The Prime Minister's National Security Adviser maintaining undisclosed relationships with PLA-connected officials through his private consultancy, while his vetting status remains secret, demands scrutiny of an entirely different order. The government's defence of Lillie's meetings is that no sensitive information was discussed. That formulation covers every difficult question this government has faced on China. The spy trial that collapsed because the government refused to name China as a national security threat in court. The super embassy approved despite a concealed underground chamber positioned within a metre of the cables carrying the City of London's financial data. The Mandelson appointment despite a due diligence report flagging China and Russia concerns. The same language. The same outcome. Dearlove warned yesterday that Chinese intelligence operates on an industrial scale, approaches every engagement with aggressive intentions, and exploits any relationship it can access. He said British officials should have been briefed in detail about the threat before attending these meetings. He said he has serious concerns about the national security adviser's previous contacts with China. Those concerns are warranted. The question Dearlove has raised about Lillie is a question about process and judgment. The question Powell's undisclosed vetting raises, alongside the spy trial collapse, the super embassy, the Indo-Pacific withdrawal, and Chinese components being embedded throughout Britain's energy grid against explicit American intelligence warnings, goes considerably further. A pattern of decisions this consistent, each retreating from Britain's interests and advancing Beijing's, each defended with the language of pragmatism and engagement, does not emerge from poor judgment alone. Poor judgment produces occasional errors. Sequential decisions, each pointing in the same direction, over two years, by a Prime Minister warned repeatedly who proceeded regardless, produces a different and more troubling question. Dearlove wants the ISC to scrutinise Lillie's paperwork. The ISC is already reviewing thousands of pages on Mandelson. Parliament has been blocked from scrutinising Powell. Scrutinise the civil servant by all means. Then ask who sent him, who knew, and why the pattern of engagement with an organisation accused of fronting for Chinese intelligence runs from the bottom of the Foreign Office all the way to the office of the Prime Minister's National Security Adviser. Sir Richard "has serious concerns about the national security adviser's previous contacts with China."

Seven Afghans. Forty Charges. Two Children. One Open Border. This morning, seven Afghan nationals appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court charged with 40 offences including rape, conspiracy to rape and human trafficking. The accused are Ahmadin Ahmadzai (20), Jamil Khalili (20), Fazal Auryakhel (20), Qais Kaker (20), Mohammed Farooq Shinwary (20), Sayed Wahid Davodzai (20) and Ali Ahamad (21). Six of the seven are twenty years old. The victims were girls aged in their early to mid teens. The offending ran from August 2023 to May 2025. Five of the seven arrived in Britain by small boat. One arrived concealed in a lorry in June 2020. All hold refugee status. All were dispersed into the Norwich community. None of the authorities who admitted them, housed them and granted them status appear to have considered what that community might be asked to absorb. On the same day, seven men appeared at Bristol Magistrates Court charged with more than 40 offences against eleven teenage victims. Among them: an Iranian national and a Syrian national. The offending ran from 2022 to 2025. Two cities. Two sets of charges. One day. The pattern is not a coincidence. It is a consequence. The Norwich case began in September 2023 when a young girl made a disclosure to police. By that point the offending had already been running for over a month. The investigation took nearly three years to produce charges. During those three years, Britain admitted a further 41,000 people by small boat in 2025 alone, the second highest annual total on record. The government dispersed them into communities across the country. It did not tell those communities who was arriving, where they had come from, or what, if anything, was known about them. This is the direct and documented consequence of that policy. Afghan nationals arrive unvetted from a country run by the Taliban, a regime that treats women as property, denies them education, forbids them public life and stones them for alleged moral infractions. They are granted refugee status. They are housed in British cities. They are given access to British communities. And in Norwich, in Warwickshire, in Southampton, in Epping, in Bristol, the same pattern repeats itself. Young girls, overwhelmingly white and working class, are targeted, groomed and raped by men whose culture of origin regards them as objects without rights or recourse. The national grooming gangs inquiry formally began work on 13 April 2026, six weeks ago. It will examine whether ethnicity and culture played a role in the crimes and the institutional response to them. It will run for three years. The Norwich case alone took three years to produce charges. Meanwhile, the boats keep coming. The dispersals continue. And somewhere in Britain tonight, in a city that does not yet know what it has been asked to absorb, the next case is already unfolding. The government's response to this morning's charges was to note that none of the accused had lived in asylum hotels in Norfolk. That is the full extent of its reassurance. Not that the border will close. Not that vetting will improve. Not that communities will be consulted before men from Taliban-governed Afghanistan are settled among them. Simply that the hotels were not involved. And as you read this, hundreds of migrants are crossing the Channel. The boats do not stop for court appearances. Twenty-two people died at the Manchester Arena because Britain admitted a family that claimed sanctuary and produced terrorists. Two girls in Norwich were raped by men Britain admitted as refugees. The same argument has been made after every case. The same argument has been ignored after every case. Compassion and national security are not the same thing. A government that cannot distinguish between them will keep producing the same results. "Afghan nationals arrive unvetted from a country run by the Taliban, a regime that treats women as property..."

This is the brazen arrogance that exposes Britain’s collapsing borders in 2026. Two Sudanese men, believed to be asylum seekers, filmed themselves on TikTok while hiding inside a cargo lorry in northern France, en route to the UK. Dressed in black puffer jackets, hats and gloves, they grinned smugly at the camera, repeatedly flashed gun gestures with their hands, and danced to Arabic drill music and UK rap – treating the illegal crossing like a victory lap rather than a serious crime. One clip was captioned “The next one will be even better, God willing.” Others mocked British border control with Union Jack emojis and the sarcastic line “England welcomes.” This isn’t the behaviour of desperate refugees fleeing persecution. These are cocky, entitled invaders openly displaying contempt for Britain and signalling threat. They view our country as an easy target – a place of free benefits, weak enforcement and zero consequences – and they’re not coming here to integrate or contribute. They’re coming to take, to mock and potentially to harm. The footage has rightly sparked massive backlash online as fresh evidence of the organised small-boat and lorry invasion happening week after week. While British families battle rising crime, housing shortages and NHS collapse, we keep rolling out the welcome mat to people who treat our sovereignty like a joke. The government’s refusal to secure our borders has created this mess. Enough is enough. Identify these men, detain them and deport them immediately. Stop the lorries. Stop the boats. Put British safety and sovereignty first

IN MEMORY ❤️ | It’s 13 years today since Lee Rigby was murdered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We will never forget our heroes 🇬🇧 His Mum has shared an emotional tribute via The The Lee Rigby Foundation page: “Becoming a Mum for the first time, I cried when I held you in my arms, and promised I would always look after you and protect you, not knowing 25 years on you would be cruelly murdered, and taken away from us. “Not being able to be by your side or say goodbye is the most heartbreaking journey that I have had to live with every single day.” RIP Lee. A British Hero. 🇬🇧❤️ You can read the full message by visiting the Lee Rigby Foundation page. #YourHerefordshire

This is so heartbreaking… Say his name Henry Nowak. An 18 year old boy! The police handcuffed him on suspicion of racism, as he drowned in his own blood from stab wounds. Silence from Starmer and almost silence from the media. He was just a boy.

You should also table an Address to the Crown in the Commons to initiate proceedings to dismiss Judge Nicholas Rowland. The sentence is undoubtedly ‘unduly lenient’ – it’s obscene – but in this case the commentary points to something well beyond malpractice or incompetence. Incredibly rare process (not seen for over a century) but rotten judges like Rowland need removing from the judiciary altogether. There is no justification whatsoever for the sentence or the commentary. He must be dismissed. Him continuing to be a judge is utterly unacceptable.

This gang lured and gang-raped at knifepoint a young girl while they filmed it laughing. I will refer their sentences as unduly lenient - let’s see if this time the Government again says the rapists are too immature to receive stronger sentences. Who are these disgraceful judges? Judge Nicholas Rowland praised the boys for their conduct during the trial. “I think of you as very young and none of you have been in any big trouble before”

This should send a chill down every British spine. The former Director of France’s Military Intelligence has just named three global centres of Muslim terrorism: Qatar, Turkey… and London. Yes, London. Our capital. Once the beating heart of the free world, now officially listed alongside two notorious state sponsors of jihad as a hub for Islamic terror networks. This isn’t some fringe conspiracy theory or tabloid exaggeration. It’s a cold, professional assessment from one of Europe’s top intelligence chiefs – someone who spent decades tracking the real threats. London has become a safe haven, a financial engine, and a command-and-control node for radical Islamists operating across the West. The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas financiers, terror financiers and ideologues have all found a comfortable home here while the rest of us are told to celebrate “diversity.” How did we let this happen? Decades of open borders, zero integration, two-tier policing that protects certain communities at all costs, and politicians terrified of being called “Islamophobic.” While British soldiers fought and died abroad, we imported the very ideology they were fighting. Now our streets, our cities and our institutions are paying the price. Qatar and Turkey at least make sense – they’re open about their agendas. But London? That’s on us. That’s the direct result of failed multiculturalism, mass migration without vetting, and an establishment that would rather silence patriots like Tommy Robinson than confront the enemy within. The British people were never asked if we wanted our capital turned into Terror HQ Europe. We were never consulted about becoming a launchpad for jihad. Yet here we are – named and shamed on the world stage while the government still pretends everything is fine. This cannot continue. London must be reclaimed. Britain must be reclaimed. Deport the radicals, shut down the networks, secure the borders and put British safety first before it’s too late. The warning is clear. The time for denial is over. Enough is enough. 🇬🇧

This is two-tier justice in Britain laid bare for the entire world to see – and it should make every decent citizen furious beyond words. Lucy Connolly, a British mother, has been handed a staggering 30 months in prison for nothing more than a tweet. One online post. No violence, no incitement to immediate harm – just words that apparently crossed the invisible line drawn by this regime. She’s already been made an example of, rushed through the system while the establishment claps itself on the back for “protecting democracy.” Contrast that with the “death cultist” caught on camera openly threatening to behead Jews. Not some vague meme or edgy remark – explicit, blood-curdling calls for violence against a specific community. And what does the British justice system do? Grants him bail. Lets him walk free pending trial. No rush, no urgency, no example-making. Just another day in the clown-world courts where certain threats are treated with kid gloves. You cannot hate this justice system enough. It’s not broken by accident – it’s operating exactly as designed under the current regime. Native Brits get the full weight of the law for speech. Radical voices from imported ideologies get protection, understanding, and second chances. While grooming gang survivors still wait for real justice, while veterans sleep on streets, while ordinary families pay the price for chaos on our borders, the system bends over backwards to shield those who hate everything Britain stands for. This isn’t equality under the law. It’s a political weapon aimed squarely at the British people who dare to speak their minds. The mask is off. The bias is blatant. And the public is reaching boiling point. How much more of this institutional betrayal will we tolerate before demanding real change? Enough is enough. Britain deserves a justice system that protects its own citizens first – not one that punishes them while excusing the threats against them. 🇬🇧
