can i say that it does seem tim does not know what to do with established couples over the past few seasons. even bathena barely got anything outside of the opening emergencies, henren had mara (hen’s illness was hen centric, Karen was barely there) and madney lol…

i personally think journalists should ask tim about why some characters are treated differently than others and why there’s such an unbalance in screentime and storylines

there was such a good juicy story for madney in season 9 about their relationship experiencing the captaincy change and having another baby, so tim shouldn’t give any bs about lacking stories with established relationship.

yes and why would cast members who have had zero to do this season promote the show when they have nothing to say? ofc oliver does the most because he gets the most and this main male lead bs isn’t excusable at all.

Promo is written in their contracts. If they want to promote the show they can. Just like the conventions were Kenny’s idea. No one is stopping the cast promoting the show. Aisha is in NYC right now promoting a rehab facility. What’s stopping her from having an interview? Nothing. Actors have a choice and they choose how they promote - either through tv or interviews or through social media.

screentime is a zero sum game. when one character has more, its natural that someone else (or multiple chars) have less. that would be fine if EVERYONE got the turn in the spotlight but the whole problem is the lack of balance existed the whole season and some never got focus

Didn’t see this many people making a fuss when Maddie and Chim magically got to foster Mara for convenient plot reasons. Do they not also have demanding jobs? Maddie had post partum depression. Does that make her unfit? Thought not.

ik it’s canon that chimney considered the lee’s like his parents already but i wanna see maddie feeling the same way too with them bc they are the most present adult in her life. i wanna see the lee’s not just being a grandparents to the kids but as a parents to madney too 🤧

the lees and maddie is a scene we deserved to see after buck got one with philip but of course she gets nothing and the scene gets cut. that feels even worse than not having it in the script in the first place.
