Meet Liav Goldstein, the man who oversees starvation and torture in Israeli concentration camps, according to a recent Haaretz exposé. Make him famous.

Doctor Liav Goldstein is the Chief Medical Officer in the Israel Prison Service. He has been one of the key figures in the starvation of Palestinian prisoners, and denial of medical help. Anti-Zionist activists gathered to protest in front of his home in Modi'in.

I fear there will come a day when historians look back on this day, and this time, and shake their head in amazement, wondering why senior leaders in Europe and United States, for many years and over multiple administrations, didn’t even *attempt* diplomacy to end the Russia\Ukraine war, but exclusively focused on sustaining that war, and to prepare for another one. The Russia of 2022 clearly did not have a fraction of the capacity necessary to threaten any NATO country. But now, because of the war we have waged against them for 4 1/2 years — and all of the threats like this one here with secretary General RUTTE, Russia is rapidly approaching the point to where they genuinely do have the capacity to threaten us, because we will not stop supporting war against them. I cannot more strongly emphasize: if Russia were doing to Europe and the west (through a proxy) what we are doing to Russia (through a proxy), we probably would’ve gone to war long ago. Pretending that Russia wouldn’t react the same way we would, is yet more of our arrogance leaking through; an arrogance that may one day result in us losing a war that should never have been fought, and was never needed for our national security.
Mark Rutte@SecGenNATO

Cash is crucial, but you cannot stop a missile or a tank with a dollar or a euro. We need to turn the cash into combat-ready capabilities, and fast. This is another top priority for the #NATOsummit in Ankara

Israeli authorities and security forces deliberately targeted Palestinian children, resulting in genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Gaza, and war crimes in the occupied West Bank, an independent UN inquiry said reut.rs/4eD9CfA

BREAKING: Israel FM Gideon Sa’ar has put forward a resolution for the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Israel. This is an insult to the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians murdered by the Ottoman Empire, to be used as a bargaining chip to ignite the ire of Turkey. In 2020, during the 44 Day War, Israel, ALONGSIDE Turkey, supplied Azerbaijan with intelligence and cutting-edge weaponry, leading to the killing of 5,000 Armenian soldiers, culminating in the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and the mass exodus of 150,000 Armenians from their 2,000-year-old homeland. We will not allow the suffering of our people to be used for political weaponization. You want to recognize the Armenian Genocide? Do it on moral grounds, if you have any left.

Wat er NU in Gaza gebeurt
Tamer Nahed@Tamer_Alnoaizy

The World Central Kitchen announced yesterday the complete suspension of its services in the city of Khan Younis and terminated the contracts of more than 150 cooks. Every short period, it seems to announce a new suspension or the end of part of its operations, as if stability in providing aid no longer exists at all. The meals they provided were the only semi stable source of food for hundreds of thousands of families. Now, services have been halted by nearly 90% across Gaza City. Today, while distributing water, we passed by one of the food kitchens that used to distribute meals. There was nothing left except a large pot of plain white rice, with no additions no sauce, no vegetables, not even a pinch of salt. I saw hundreds of people men, women, children, and elderly literally fighting over this small amount of rice. They pushed each other, stretched out their hands in desperation, their eyes hollow, and their faces pale. I saw the anguish in their eyes. I saw the sadness weighing down every step. The world does not fully understand the scale of the tragedy here. Every time an aid organization stops or reduces its services, another part of life in Gaza dies. My family and I used to benefit from these meals that were being provided, but for many months now we have not received a single meal. I say this not only as an individual case, but as a reflection of a reality that now includes thousands of families who have lost this essential source of food. I swear to you that what we are living through cannot be described in words. People are not just hungry they are broken. They need more aid, not less. What they have endured is enough; the death that follows them every day is enough.

Honestly, I don’t know how to describe what I lived through today. Even though I have been living in Gaza and documenting what is happening since the beginning of the war, what I witnessed today was one of the most shocking and painful scenes of my entire life. A group of families living in a very remote camp, almost directly beside the Israeli sand berms, contacted us. They told us they had not received water for a long time. At first, we hesitated because reaching the area with a water truck meant entering an extremely dangerous zone. In the end, we decided to try. Throughout the journey, I saw destruction and rubble everywhere, but the scene that awaited us near the camp was unlike anything else. Directly in front of us were the sand berms and Israeli cranes, surrounded by a landscape of devastation where little remained except tents and ruins. When the water truck was still about a kilometer away, people began shouting and running toward it. Women, children, and elderly people carried empty water containers and ran with all the strength they had, terrified that the water would run out before their turn came. The moment the truck stopped, large numbers of people emerged from among the rubble and damaged tents. They were not looking for food, shelter, or anything else. They were looking for water. Just water. This time we distributed 6,000 liters of clean water, more than we had distributed before, but even that was not enough. Many people remained waiting, and some left without receiving enough water for their families. As we distributed the water and documented what was happening, fear never left us for a single moment. Yet what I felt in the face of such immense suffering was greater than fear itself. Today I witnessed a level of thirst I never imagined I would see. I saw mothers running after a water truck, and children clutching empty containers as if they were holding on to their last hope. I thought I had already seen everything during this war, but what I witnessed today made me realize that the humanitarian catastrophe is far greater than what the world sees on television screens. This is not simply a shortage of services or difficult living conditions. It is a daily struggle for the most basic necessities of survival. We are facing a real humanitarian disaster that grows worse with each passing day, while thousands of families wake up every morning searching for one thing only: water.
