on the current dating/apprarance discourse, I want to offer that I grew out my undercut and dressed more feminine, and now I’m seeing a guy who keeps saying “I think it’s really hot and cool that you used to have an undercut”

@cardoni @0xglitchbyte Well, and it's moot. They have reverted the commit. For the reason I said. People have to challenge the Law in order to have standing for a court challenge. You usually can't just willingly comply and ask the court to review the matter.

@chrisprice @0xglitchbyte 🧐 I’ve never thought about gaining standing by not following the law. I appreciate your thoughts on the matter. I have some more thinking to do on this.

@cardoni @0xglitchbyte In order to challenge a law, you must have standing. Most courts require you to not comply in order to challenge the law. This is why you must not comply.

Wading into the Arch Linux Senate/Assembly bill compliance debate has been a fun adventure.

@realJSeymour @0xglitchbyte Yeah. Mostly, that the OP can't read. Then my own reply got me thinking. I guess you could say I'm the opposite of Marc Andreessen: I introspect on my own thoughts as I type them.

@stableguvnor @0xglitchbyte 😆 “Ball gargler” made me laugh. That's objectively a hilarious turn of phrase. I should add that your own response contradicts the thrust of your argument. But hey, who cares? Right?

""" Totally agree that these laws are dumb, and hopefully our Supreme Court will overturn them. 100% agree. But in terms of the motivation of *why* Arch Linux accepted this MR into their codebase, it’s crystal clear: they’re following the current law(s) until and unless they’re overturned. Unfortunately, our country doesn’t work such that we’re able to pick and choose which laws we want to disobey based on our suspicion or hope that “maybe, someday, SCOTUS will overturn ”. """ ….Is what I was going to tweet, until I realized these are literally PROPOSED laws in the assembly and otherwise unpassed. Hmmm. Going to do some more research on why Arch would preemptively merge this into main.

A lot of men do in fact check out every single female they see. So these women are actually correct. But don't let it go to your head, there isn't much signal there.

I had a roommate in college who CONSTANTLY thought everyone was staring at her (in a way like they were wowed by her) and that every man she encountered was checking her out. she wasn’t unattractive, just totally average looking. this phenomenon should be studied.

@bitcloud These slop posters don't care about anything other than views and clicks. Nothing they say is even aimed at or with regard to the truth at all. They're digital bullshitters.

One of the games Im never going to indulge for even a second is this "avert your eyes" game with women. Everyone knows what is happening. People look at each other. It's normal. Sometimes there's a sexual related thought flying through at 100sms, most of the time not. And either is fine. At every level, leftists are attempting to moderate even the slightest aspect the normal, healthy human experience and turn it into a nightmarish dystopian fantasy novel.

Is it possible that the grief is, in fact, the worst after the funeral, after all the people have gone home, after the body's been cremated, when time moves slowly and you have no idea what to do with yourself (or why you feel 100 years old)?
