That simply cannot be the way #Eurovision plays out every year. It can’t carry on like this and I hope the broadcasters and artists speak up even more. If there’s as much fall out now as there was after last years final, the EBU should have no choice but to do something about it.

if you're watching eurovision tonight you should be ashamed of yourself. and don't come at me with the 'i grew up with it, it's tradition' excuse. i was the Biggest eurovision fan, my year used to revolve around it. it's really not that hard to let it go.

Catching up with a nice Canadian couple I met on holidays years ago, who were touring around Ireland this week in a hired car. Insurance for the car was €1,000, *separate* to the hire cost. Absolutely outrageous. We're pricing ourselves out of the tourism market #RipoffIreland

I feel sad for Tommy Fleming, that he didn't feel comfortable enough to reveal this before now. We all need to get over that being gay is something to hide, or feel ashamed about. Totally normal.
