I.e if I had a pension I had inherited from a parent it would be in my estate for iht. But looks like it is worse than this and could be more simply put…pensions no longer exempt from iht.

@Paul49575522 @carmichilli @MartinSLewis And if it pushes overall estate above £2m, then people start to lose the RNRB... Certainly gets more complicated!

Just to say the "inheritance pensions will be brought into inheritance tax from 2027" is a big change - i'm going to explain more about who this impacts after the budget speech is over.

@MAPSinclair @MartinSLewis Sounds like pension death benefit nominations will need to be carefully reviewed to share between spouse and children on member’s death. Rather than just leaving fully to spouse on first death with plan to pass on to children on second death.

@MartinSLewis No IHT between spouses - so does this mean the pension is in the estate moving to the second generation? But can still provide for a husband or wife with no additional tax...

@dusk_uk I’ve been caught out by someone impersonating this account. If you provided a phone number for customers or replied to emails or tweets effectively and quickly then scammers would not be able to take advantage!

Some perspective, if we match LIVs results in the next 2 games then we get CL, regardless of what happens in GW38. I think our 2 games are slightly easier; we play LEI at home whilst LIV play them away, and BHA at home for us and AVL at home for LIV are similar challenges. #nufc
