So, theoretically, does this mean any sitting President could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate the Justices who issue an opinion and then replace those Justices with no real legal repercussions?

Since then, Rep Bolick has sought to pass legislation that would allow the AZ legislature to veto the people’s vote, invalidate election results and instead choose its own winner. When we talk about democracy being at risk, this is what we are talking about. Your vote matters.

2 of the 7 seats on the AZ Supreme Court are up for a “retention” vote in 2024, including Clint Bolick, godson of the Justice Clarence Thomas. Clint's wife, Shawna is an AZ House Rep and was one of the individuals Ginni Thomas emailed to try to overturn the 2020 election 👇

People really need to understand how mainstream it has become in some tech VC circles to argue that journalism itself is dangerous as an idea and should be abolished, and that it will be up to the tech world to carry this out.

Wrote another piece - Young people believe in democracy. Perhaps their optimism is rooted in the trust they have in their generation's ability to create change. thehill.com/opinion/campai…

"Any party, campaign, donor, or organization not investing today in organizing young people is already behind—and that could have disastrous consequences for our democracy. The stakes are too high, and time is too short." - @carolyndewitt of @RockTheVote newsweek.com/rock-vote-2024…

Millennials and Gen Z will make up 44% of the electorate in 2024. We have the numbers. We do not have to agonize for the next two years. We need to invest and organize, but we need to start now.

Young people saved democracy in 2022. Start investing in them now so they can do it again in 2024.

Young voters showed up and showed out at the polls across the country! We're looking at historic turnout in 2018, 2020, and again in 2022; it's time to admit that we deserve a seat at the table. 🧵

They have shown up in 2018,2020 and 2022. They have proven they are to be taken seriously and the issues they care about should be front and center for whomever wants their vote.

Why? Bc they saw progress on the issues they care about (climate, guns, student debt, etc.) and candidates who want to continue that progress. They showed up for ballot measures.

Let’s get this story right. This wasn’t the red wave as predicted bc of young voters. Period. Young voters were the only age group with strong majority support for Ds. Middle age voters were only 3+ D and older voters went 10+ GOP 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾
