Last night @carrickgateway marked the first session of our exciting 3-week programme with BEAMA 🙌 A huge thank you to John and Timmy, who were absolutely fantastic and set the tone for what’s to come! We have just finished our 8.5 kilometers walk from Whiteabbey Train Station to Carrickfergus Train Station, and what a lovely day to remember Trevor!! A massive well done to all our members who did amazingly, supported by our wonderful volunteers.

Finally getting a chance to post after a busy week! Last week, we had the privilege of attending @Mencap_NI Belfast, we joined Network Partners from across the province for an incredible day of learning and sharing. This was the first time we all came together, it was facilitated by Mencap’s amazing Regional Community Engagement Lead, Emma . The day was packed with exciting information about new opportunities and initiatives that Emma is spearheading, and the best part is, we get to be a part of it! From start to finish, the day was brilliant. We made meaningful connections and felt a shared sense of purpose, all thanks to Emma’s fantastic work in bringing the community together.
