Teaching nutrition to young doctors… Unfortunately ONLY 1 IN 4 medical schools teach ANY nutrition classes at all- We must be better! Leave a ❤️ in comments if you agree! 👉 We MUST teach physicians to understand key role of DIETITIANS in saving & changing lives! #NutritionMatters #nutrition

@gorskon @SecKennedy Does he have any idea that doctors can refer to registered dietitian nutritionists and don’t need to add this to their scope of practice? Should they understand science-based nutrition best practices? Sure- but make the referrals. It’s not a hard concept.

Sigh. @SecKennedy says they'll embed nutrition in college premed programs and test it on the MCAT. He does know that premed programs are not a homogeneous major and that the MCAT is administered by a private company, doesn't he? Also, the MCAT already has questions on nutrition.

The head of the FDA tells us they're taking a look at the dietary guidelines and that the food pyramid is out. The food pyramid has not been in use since 2011 when MyPlate replaced it. It is inherently concerning the head of the FDA doesn't know this, but even moreso that this same slip up happens regularly from a top MAHA adviser to the administration, Eric Berg, a chiropractor and alternative medicine practitioner who profits considerably from supplements (like many in the RFK Jr nutrition orbit) foxnews.com/food-drink/ame…

FDA is taking a critical look at our food supply, using the best science and common sense.

Throughout all her years in school, Bowling Green State University sophomore Taylor Gaies said she has never been more academically successful than in her first year in college — an achievement she credits to the Falcon Learning Your Way (FLY) Program, which provides personalized academic support for students with #ADHD, specific learning differences and executive function challenges. “I had the best academic year I’ve ever had in my life. I was successful in my classes and turned so many of my weaknesses into strengths. The #BGSU FLY program has been the most transformational experience.” -Taylor Gaies Read more: bit.ly/4hu7szv #AlwaysBG

Great leaders don’t motivate with fear; they inspire with hope. Fear creates short-term compliance, but it stifles innovation and creativity. Leadership is about creating a space where people feel safe to take risks, knowing that even if they fail, they will be supported and encouraged to try again. ~@LollyDaskal bit.ly/3AlMy0Y #Leadership #Management #TedXTalk #HR #Speaker #TedX #Ted

@StreetSmartRD It needs to be accessible, affordable and culturally appropriate. It should also be in line with the patient’s eating style, not the clinician’s. Basic food principles and not lofty ideals that the average person cannot attain. 😊
