🚨 2025 Season Preview 🚨 Tomball Concordia Lutheran TAPPS D1, District 2 HC: @WillieAmendola RC: @Coach_EA31 Team: @clhstxathletics @RomeStanford @brode_clark48 @JaxonColeman45 @CarsonClark_6 @MalikLiberty17 @CodyCutrer2026 @NathanMuaka3 @ConnoReynard @ReidKelley_50 @William_Canovas @Ryan_Neidigk1 @Nicoesc_QB @NSchoenfel42654 @NelsonCsncoach The Crusaders have been steadily climbing the TAPPS ranks in recent years under the leadership of head coach Willie Amendola, and 2025 might be their most intriguing season yet. One of the biggest offseason storylines was the intra-district transfer of star athlete Rome Stanford from St. Pius X to Concordia Lutheran. His arrival adds firepower to an already talented roster and will no doubt add fuel to the fire when these two teams meet in district play. The biggest question mark heading into the season lies under center. With the graduation of quarterback Tanner Huckfelt, the starting job is up for grabs. Will it be sophomore Nicolas Escudero or junior Ryan Neidigk who steps into the role? Regardless of who wins the battle, the offense won’t be short on playmakers. Jaxon Coleman, Carson Clark, and Malik Liberty give the Crusaders a trio of speedy, athletic weapons on the perimeter. Coleman, in particular, could be one of the most underrated players in the Texas private school 2027 class. Up front, transfer Brode Clark has the look of a next-level offensive lineman and will anchor the line alongside returning leader William Canovas. Defensively, Concordia returns experience and toughness. Reid Kelley will anchor the defensive line, with Nathan Muaka, Joseph Beverly, and Connor Reynard forming a strong, disciplined linebacker unit. The secondary may be one of the best in TAPPS D1, featuring a stacked group with Stanford, Clark, Coleman, and Cody Cutrer. With a mix of veteran presence, exciting new talent, and a coaching staff that knows how to build, Concordia is a team to keep an eye on in the district title race.

@CarsonClark_6 ‘26 #uncommitted was the workhorse of @clhstxathletics T&F this past weekend at the @TappsTrack State meet - He won the 100m and set a new TAPPS State meet record, ran the 200m broke the school record and came in third, and was the first leg of the 4x1 that placed third and broke the school record for a third time this year.
