Can’t wait for the future when large corporations will announce “reduction in token spend”. Or will they?

@charlespacker @sarahwooders 100%. Open weights will eat the (model) world. Open source has by most metrics, been a success, and I have strong conviction this will be true of open weights models as well. A mix of open and closed weights models is probably great for the ecosystem.

Today I was shocked to learn that our very effective review bot (built by someone on our team with Letta Code) runs on GLM 5.1, not GPT 5.5/Opus 4.7

Coming back to this with @asutula just now. I'll say it again: what if every website was its own git remote? https ://carsonfarmer.com git ://carsonfarmer.git Easy to host. With git based hubs, you get free "pages", but what if with pages, you get free "git"?
carsonfarmer@carsonfarmer

So many people talking about the next replacement for GitHub... but what I really want to see is a proliferation of self-hosting options. Every website/app/service should just be its own git remote, or at least everything should HAVE its own git remote.

"I just forgot I had that one. So I sold it because I didn't know why I had bought it." That's an AI agent explaining itself. A human trader would never admit to that which is exactly why agent transparency is a feature, not a bug. @dannytook sat down with @carsonfarmer (@recallnet)

just enabled a minimum age on npm package installs for my machine, should've done this sooner but if you haven't either here's a prompt for your coding agent to configure it for you: ""Find my package manager (bun/pnpm/npm/yarn) and configure a 3-day minimum-release-age / cooldown for installs to blunt supply-chain attacks. Exempt my workspace scopes. Verify the exact config key in current docs before writing."
