Here’s my honest assessment of what this means for Higgins. It’s not fun, but it’s what I think.
Logan Wilson’s extension was a suggestion it might not happen (this year).
Burrow done before Higgins seals it to me.
Only way that worked was Tee got done and Joe worked his deal around it.

On Joe Burrow, the end appears near on the contract extension that will likely make him the highest paid player in NFL history (for now). Burrow usually speaks on Wednesday before the upcoming game and is expected to speak sometime Wednesday. With parents in town, now would be a great time for Bengals to announce before the opener.
