Our propulsion team is making great progress. The 20kN Kinecore-4 and its 50N RCS thrusters have completed boundary performance qualification tests. The combo will be used in the upcoming Kinastra (Lixun,力巡) kick stage, enabling Kinetica-2 with GTO and other high-orbit missions.

The 110 tf Kinecore-2 pintle-injector engine has just completed another long-duration hot-fire test. The 420-second test includes Kinecore-2's longest single hot-fire yet of 200 seconds (that's how long Stage I works🤔). Now moving on to the Reliability Identification Phase.

In a collaboration with @POPMARTGlobal, the inaugural Li Hong - 1 launch sent two 'astronauts' above the Kármán line and back to Earth safely. As the team further develops the Li Hong vehicles, crew-rated flights will soon become a reality.
These limited-edition POPMART dolls are now available for purchase on the CAS Space official merchandise store.

The mission carries several experimental projects, including LAM-MG-R1 (laser-additive manufacturing) and space-radiation-induced rose seeds. The Li Hong vehicle series and the subsequent in-orbit platforms under development will provide a low-cost, go-to solution for the age of space manufacturing and space agriculture.

Li Hong -1 reached an altitude of around 120 km. The experimental capsule experienced more than five minutes of micro-gravity environments. The successful recovery of the capsule has validated the design and provided crucial data for subsequent space tourism vehicles. Meanwhile, by achieving a precise landing zone for the booster stage, the constraints and algorithms for vehicle re-entry have been rigorously tested. What we have learned will be crucial for reusable orbital vehicles.

A few hours ago, the first-ever Li Hong – 1 completed its inaugural mission of suborbital flight and recovery. The CAS Space team has recovered the returning capsule parachuted for re-entry. The mission carried micro-gravity scientific experiments. The flight verified the re-entry and deceleration processes for the returning capsule, as well as the precise landing-zone control of the booster stage.

Mission Y11 “Create the Future” made space dreams come true for the next generation. Yat Sun-A (Yixian-A) is a student-led, designed, and built CubeSat from Sun Yat-Sen University. This extraordinary CubeSat is the first satellite with a wooden top. Multiple research projects will be conducted during its 6-month orbital life.

As the top performer in the private launch sector in 2025, Kinetica-1 delivered 27 satellites totalling 6 tonnes of payloads. Kinecore Kerolox Engines enters production. Kinetica-2 and Li Hong-1 are on standby for the upcoming inaugural flights.

If confirmed, this incident occurred nearly 48 hours after payload separation, by which time the launch mission had long concluded. CAS Space will coordinate with satellite operators to proceed. This calls for re-establishing collaborations between the two New Space ecosystems.

When satellite operators do not share ephemeris for their satellites, dangerously close approaches can occur in space. A few days ago, 9 satellites were deployed from a launch from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwestern China. As far as we know, no coordination or deconfliction with existing satellites operating in space was performed, resulting in a 200 meter close approach between one of the deployed satellites and STARLINK-6079 (56120) at 560 km altitude. Most of the risk of operating in space comes from the lack of coordination between satellite operators - this needs to change.
