Online Gaming के नाम पर जुआ! सुप्रीम कोर्ट हुआ सख्त, क्या अब बैन होंगे सारे ई-स्पोर्ट्स ऐप्स? #OnlineGaming #SupremeCourt #SC #ESports #GamingAct सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने केंद्र सरकार को नोटिस जारी किया है और उससे जवाब मांगा है कि देशभर में बढ़ते ऑनलाइन जुए और बेटिंग प्लेटफॉर्म्स पर कब तक सख्त कार्रवाई होगी. यह वे ऐप्स हैं जो खुद को ई-स्पोर्ट्स या सोशल गेम्स बताकर असल में गैम्बलिंग का धंधा चला रहे हैं. जस्टिस जेबी पारदीवाला और केवी विश्वनाथन की बेंच ने कहा कि इन मामलों को Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 से जुड़ी याचिकाओं के साथ टैग किया जाएगा. अदालत ने यह भी माना कि केंद्र सरकार की तरफ से जो नया कानून बना है, वह अभी लागू नहीं हुआ है, इसलिए इन प्लेटफॉर्म्स के खिलाफ ठोस कार्रवाई नहीं हो पा रही है. . . याचिका में कहा गया है कि फिलहाल करीब 2000 ऑनलाइन ऐप्स देश में सक्रिय हैं, जो लोगों को जुए और बेटिंग में फंसा रहे हैं. याचिकाकर्ता संस्था Centre for Accountability and Systemic Change (CASC) ने कहा कि यह मामला देश के युवाओं के भविष्य से जुड़ा हुआ है और सरकार को जल्द से जल्द इस पर कदम उठाना चाहिए. याचिकाकर्ता की ओर से अधिवक्ता विराग गुप्ता ने कहा कि यह याचिका बच्चों को इन ऐप्स के खतरों से बचाने के लिए दाखिल की गई है. उनका कहना है कि ऐसे कई ऐप्स खुद को मुफ्त ई-स्पोर्ट्स गेम्स बताते हैं, लेकिन भीतर से ये बेटिंग और सट्टेबाज़ी के अड्डे हैं, जो मानसिक और आर्थिक नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं. . . याचिका में सुप्रीम कोर्ट से यह भी आग्रह किया गया है कि RBI, NPCI और UPI प्लेटफॉर्म्स को निर्देश दिया जाए कि वे किसी भी अनरजिस्टर्ड गेमिंग ऐप्स से जुड़ी मनी ट्रांजैक्शन की अनुमति न दें. इससे देशभर में फैले इन जुआ नेटवर्क्स पर लगाम लगाई जा सकेगी. याचिका में यह भी कहा गया है कि देश में ऑनलाइन जुए का यह फैलाव एक “राष्ट्रीय संकट” बन गया है, जो आबादी के आधे हिस्से को प्रभावित कर रहा है. इससे मानसिक तनाव, आर्थिक नुकसान और यहां तक कि आत्महत्या के मामले भी बढ़ रहे हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस पर गंभीरता दिखाते हुए केंद्र से कहा है कि वह जल्द एक विस्तृत जवाब पेश करे और स्थिति पर नियंत्रण के लिए ठोस कदम उठाए.
