We’re spending a week with #AlexanderMcQueen, in honour of his #frockingfabulous birthday!: Paralympian Aimee Mullins wore this prosthetic leg by McQueen at his 1999 show, "No. 13". He crafted the leg to resemble a Victorian boot and it was made by Bob Watts of Dorset Orthopaedic. The intricate carving, inspired by Grinling Gibbons, was done by Paul Ferguson. #fashionhistory via the V&A.
