@unclebobmartin Are they actually self professed Marxists or is that you label you are applying based on current rhetoric? And IIRC Trump started this war over no real stated reasons AFTER the bill to fund DHS failed. So…the blame doesn’t seem very accurate here

Your expectations are irrelevant. I’m not talking about social democracies. I’m talking about Marxists getting elected to high office. Your last sentence is hard to parse; but as far as I can tell has no bearing on the current terror threat that DHS is not being paid to deal with.

The Democrat party is off the rails. They have defunded DHS in the midst of a terror threat. They are electing socialists and communists to high office. It's nuts.

I’m embarrassed as an American because of the Supreme Court ruling on tariffs being reversed. They just stripped down President Trumps negotiation power, opened the door to refunds and might have brought upon on a recession. If you can’t see that, you are a spiritual liberal.

I just voted in North Carolina. I was NEVER asked for my ID, even though I had it in my hand. I told them my name, address, signed a document, and then voted. No one looked at my ID. Anyone could have voted for me if they just knew my address and name. This is crazy...

@SenEricSchmitt Turns out most were legal asylum seekers. You might wanna look up the term “illegal immigrant” before reporting the numbers

Democrats decided to pick a fight over immigration—bring it on. 15 million people came here illegally under Joe Biden & the American people are fed up. We're not going to do anything that'll kneecap our brave ICE agents from doing their jobs.

@JOBhakdi Maybe free speech without guardrails especially for politicians and media was a mistake? How many Americans are well informed or even believe truthful things?

If you have no free speech, you are not free. Every country in Europe should make it the #1 political issue and demand to remove all censorship from its laws. Fining and jailing your own citizens for thinking or saying the “wrong” thing is the most obvious and blatant tool of oppression.

HOLY CRAP!! Telegram just sent this message to all the users in Spain. The country is on its way to North Korean censorship. ❗️ The government of Pedro Sánchez is promoting new dangerous regulations that threaten your freedoms on the Internet. Announced yesterday, these measures could turn Spain into a surveillance state under the pretext of "protection." Here I explain why they are a red alarm signal for freedom of expression and privacy: 1. Prohibition of social networks for children under 16 years of age with mandatory age verification: This is not just about children - it requires platforms to use strict controls, such as requiring ID or biometrics. ⚠️ Danger: Establish a precedent to track the identity of EACH user, eroding anonymity and opening doors to massive data collection. What begins with minors could be extended to everyone, stifling the open debate. 2. Personal and criminal liability for platform executives: If "illegal, hateful or harmful" content is not quickly removed, those responsible could go to jail. ⚠️ Danger: This will force overcensorship—the platforms will erase anything minimally controversial to avoid risks, silencing political dissent, journalism and everyday opinions. Your voice could be next if you defy the status quo. 3. Criminalization of algorithmic amplification: Amplifying "harmful" content through algorithms becomes a crime. ⚠️ Danger: Governments will dictate what you see, burying opposing opinions and creating state-controlled echo chambers. Free exploration of ideas? Missing—replaced by curated propaganda. 4. Follow-up of the "hateful and polarization": Platforms must monitor and report how they "feed the division." ⚠️ Danger: Vague definitions of "hate" could label criticism of the government as divisive, leading to closures or fines. This can be a tool to suppress the opposition. These are not safeguards; they are steps towards total control. We have seen this script before—governments arming "security" to censor their critics. At Telegram, we prioritize your privacy and freedom: strong encryption, no backdoors and resistance to excess. ✊ Stay vigilant, Spain. Demand transparency and fight for your rights. Share this widely—before it's too late

Tyrants love censorship
Eva Vlaardingerbroek@EvaVlaar

These files are a BOMBSHELL. Thanks to the @JudiciaryGOP, we now have proof that the EU has been actively censoring legal content that goes against their agenda—and that they interfered in at least 8 European elections, including the Dutch elections of 2023 and 2025, by meeting with social media platforms to pressure them to censor political speech in the days before the vote. Leading up to the Dutch elections of 2023 the EU commission even made the then Dutch Interior Ministry @hugodejonge a "trusted flagger" entitled to make priority censorship requests under the DSA. What kind of political speech did they want to censor, you ask? - “Populist rhetoric” - “Anti-government/anti-EU content” - “Anti-elite” content - “Political satire” - “Anti-migrant and Islamophobic content” - “Anti-refugee content/anti-immigrant sentiment” - “Anti-LGBTQI content” - “Meme subculture” In other words, anything that goes against their agenda, anything remotely right-wing or conservative, and anything pertaining to the disastrous migrant situation we have here in Europe. And guess what the only platform was that did not cooperate? @X, of course. The same platform that the EU is fining for 120 million euros under the DSA and the same platform that is currently having its offices raided in France. This is the type of stuff over which governments should resign and institutions like the EU should fall. Democracy is dead. Abolish the EU! Now!

@timburchett There is no problem with financed protests…that doesnt mean everyone is getting paid…but organizers might, supplies get bought, transport, etc. it’s called an effective protest…why does protesting have to be 100% organic for you folks?

Then that isn’t capitalism. Public ownership of core institutions = socialism. That’s not “basically our system with add-ons.” Either you have private ownership with regulation or public ownership. It can be argued that it can be both. But that’s a mixed economy and is still not capitalism.

Clash Report
Clash Report@clashreport·
Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez: Starting next week, my government will implement the following actions: First, we will change the law in Spain to hold platform executives legally accountable for many infringements taking place on their sites. Second, we will turn algorithmic manipulation and amplification of illegal content into a new criminal offense. Third, we will implement a hate and polarization footprint system to track, quantify, and expose how digital platforms fuel division and amplify hate. Fourth, Spain will ban access to social media for minors under the age of 16. Platforms will be required to implement effective age verification systems — not just checkboxes, but real barriers that work. Fifth and last, my government will work with our public prosecutor to investigate and pursue the infringement committed by Grok, TikTok, and Instagram.
