Steichen was essentially done with Richardson during that season. It’s why they pivoted to Daniel Jones and why he barely even brings AR up unless directly asked.
Whatever happened behind the scenes, plus the poor play on the field, completely broke that relationship imo

Richardson’s age 21 season was, albeit short lived, pretty promising. The issue is his age 22 season (2024)
He completed 47% of his passes, led the offense to 19 ppg in his starts, and suffered 3 separate injuries and was benched for performance/work ethic. That’s the issue here

On Kenny Moore II, a couple points: *This opens up $7M in salary-cap savings. *Moore likely would've been on this roster if he wanted, BUT there is clearly a shift coming to more man-to-man approach as there should be w Sauce and Ward on the field. Not an ideal fit for Moore.

i know the colts want him gone, however i personally don’t see the benefit of cutting him when your qb1 tore his achilles in december. what’s the harm of having him start a couple games/backup leonard if jones isn’t 100% for week one. and news flash, he won’t be

I would imagine that the organization wants to see if Riley is actually QB2 or if they need to move on from him too. Not picking up AR’s 5th round option was the organization’s way of telling you they were done with him.
