@castagra Ecodur has been solid for me on membrane transitions. Just curious - how does the adhesion compare when you get into the sheet metal interfaces? That is always where these coatings fail first, and contractors eat the cost when spec sheets dont match reality.

@Costryx Shiny decorative metals can be difficult as well and often require light abrading. Patina and other oxidation should be removed before application. The next concern is movement. On systems like drip edge, there is enough overlap that issues are rare. (continued below) 👇

@Costryx Great points! Most coatings should use a metal primer. Ecodur generally does well on metal, but there are caveats. If the metal is new or has contaminants, it should be wiped with acetone or alcohol to remove machine oil/contaminants. (continued below)👇
