@magic33number @adamcurry’s stack sometimes sends the wrong feed url in the podping. I implemented a workaround, it should be more reliable now.

@castamatic ITM! Is there a trick to getting the bat signal to work? I have checked every setting multiple times but it has never gone off (and no real way for me to test other than waiting for show days). Thanks!

@Crockett3636 Not at this time. Phone-watch sync APIs are quite sketchy and unreliable. Maybe I’ll look into streaming.

@castamatic Is there a way we can sync to an AppleWatch and leave the phone at home on walks/runs? If not, would it be possible to allow watches with cellular connection to stream while on the go?

@ManDownrange Hello Dustin. A new version is available in the app store with a couple of new CarPlay options (mark as listened + play next/previous episode).

@castamatic, I would love to see an option to mark an episode as played from the CarPlay screen. Sometimes I'm not feeling a specific episode and just want it to go away. A couple of others have this feature and it's very useful for me.

@castamatic Love the app! One question though, in settings I have Sequential Play -> Autoplay Next Episode and order set to Bottom to Top. With those settings I would expect to listen to “yesterday’s episode” of a daily podcast and then have it play “today’s” episode. However no matter the settings it always plays the next oldest as if the order were set “Top to Bottom.” What am I doing wrong? Or am I misunderstanding the setting? Thanks!

@GalwayMartin Hello Martin. Please use the option to send a report at the bottom of the settings panel and be a little more specific on the bugs you encounter. The more info, the more likely I can reproduce and fix them.

@castamatic hello and the for ur work, I’ve just started using it and love it. And have 2 questions. - in a playlist, how to play the top episode if isn’t downloaded yet but the option to stream over data is enabled. I noticed that it skipped to the next downloaded episode.

@rbrt1k Rebuild library should not lose any data.

@rbrt1k New version is available in the store, it should fix the freeze while unsubscribing. Let me know if search is still sluggish and please would you tell me which search (new podcasts, existing episodes...)

@Some1Actually2 The on the go playlist appears when you add some episodes to it (swipe any episode and select “add to on the go”)

@castamatic hi there I downloaded the app having used it in the past and I don’t see an On The Go playlist. Do I just create it on my own? I want to make sure it functions as you intended it.

@GreatGoomer Hello Bobby. You can enable unlistened episodes count in the app main page (for each podcast and playlist) in the app’s settings panel. A badge on Castamatic icon is not available at this time.

@castamatic stupid question but how do I show number of unplayed episodes badge on app home screen? Does it only show when episodes are downloaded & not streaming?

@castamatic Is there a way to configure the app to automatically download new episodes when on WiFi? I have to remember to go into the app and do this manually.

@aswellalso As for the episodes restarting from the beginning it's a bug. If you have some way to reproduce it consistently it would be very appreciated so I can fix it. You can write a report and email it picking the last option at the bottom of the settings page.

@aswellalso If you experience more interruptions it means you might have bad connection, and probably would have a better experience downloading episodes instead of streaming them.
