Either it’s a legitimate penalty OR it’s embellishment, not both. I absolutely HATE how that is called in the NHL.

@K_Nick_97 100% My hope for this team before the season was to “play meaningful games in March and April.” They did that, made the playoffs, AND won a series. Exceeded my expectations and now they can just keep learning and soaking it all in. This run will benefit this team for years.

Hello Darkness My Old Friend Kyle
@casterY4SO They totally could. So long as they don't completely fall apart next round, even if they don't win, they've gotten a taste of what it takes to do so. That's everything I hoped for. That experience alone just vaulted the young core's development forward massively.

I can't believe they did it. They deserved it too. What an excellent series. They really only sucked in G5 and the 1st period of G1. House money from this point on. Still some room to grow but they've accomplished everything they could have asked for this year and more.

Credit to Joel Quenneville. He allowed his team - notably the youngsters - to play through mistakes all season long. Sometimes, it felt like the leash might even be too long. But they rewarded him big time when it mattered most. Stout, nearly mistake free hockey in Game 6.

@henriquedamour It’s wild that I’ve come to the conclusion that I got out at the right time. Certainly things broke in a way that I didn’t have a choice but to go back to a “normal job,” but I have continued to hear brutal story after brutal story over the last 2.5 years and it makes me sad…

Sadly, at no point in the process of my potential return as talent do I believe that CSMG handled things correctly or professionally. Here is the timeline from my perspective: -Post CECC 2025, payment issues arise, forcing talent to demand payments or deal with the legal consequences of breached contracts. -Payment issues are solved with CSMG promising not to have this problem in the future. -The cycle restarts, CSMG reaches out to me and other talent to help with preliminary work like seeding for qualifiers, as I have done for them every year in the past. -CSMG then posts an announcement, "Looking for student talent", blindsiding me and all other talent. -I asked for clarification on the post and am told definitively that student talent would not be replacing industry talent and "official talent positions" would still remain. -Time passes, qualifiers continue, and eventually, I am given an offer for CECC 2026. -In said offer, rates do not change, but additional work is asked for, and no late fee or guarantees of timely payments are included. I ask for clarification and am put into a group DM with the talent manager to ask questions. -After almost a week without response, I get a meeting with the talent manager for CECC 2026, only to have my meeting cancelled 2 hours later, citing "internal adjustments to our planning". -Over 2 weeks pass by without any update. I ask multiple times for clarifications or updates, without any given. -Finally, my offer is officially rescinded, over a month after the initial offer was made. The primary reason cited is "to focus primarily on providing work opportunities for collegiate students", something I asked about at the very beginning of this process almost 2 months prior, and was assured would not happen. I am devastated to not return to CECC, as I have worked at every single CECC since 2022. This event is one of the most important and prestigious LANs in collegiate esports, and the honor of working on it yearly is not lost on me. So, to be so uncemoniously left off the roster of talent this year is painful beyond words. CSMG and the CECC staff showed almost no professionalism throughout this process. Again, to say I am disappointed and frustrated is an understatement; I am appalled by how this entire process was handled.

Ducks have a gut check opportunity right now. This team can and SHOULD do damage in the postseason, even if their chances to advance past the 2nd round are slim. But, if they can’t sort out these collapses and inability to hold teams to 2 goals or less, they will get embarrassed

John Doe/Black Ace 1's lawyers at Romanucci & Blandin put out a statement about Joel Quenneville's hiring: “We are deeply troubled to hear about the hiring of Coach Q by another NHL team this week, despite his complicity in the Blackhawks’ clubhouse regarding sexual abuse of a player and now active litigation about sexual abuse of another player by a staff member. The leadership expected of a Head Coach and the decency expected as a human being should have guided him to protect these players at all costs. We hope and expect his new team will hold him and the entire management team to the highest standards of conduct and not sacrifice player well-being for winning.”

shows me that he has earned anything close to said second chance, let alone the benefit of the doubt. We’ll see what happens next, but today truly is the saddest day of my Ducks fandom.

If I’m not completely satisfied myself, the Ducks will not be getting a dime out of me as long as Q remains at the very least. Remember, nobody OWES Q a second chance. He has to EARN that with his own words and actions. And nothing I’ve seen since all of this came out

The @AnaheimDucks and Q owe hockey fans a ton of answers. And if they aren’t satisfied and Q doesn’t show real contrition and ownership of his full role in what happened to Kyle Beach the others who suffered, then many will make their voices heard with their dollars.

That is one of the worst challenges I’ve seen in years, even before factoring in the go-ahead goal 10 seconds after it fails… #nokingsno
