Degree conversion is just racism. I’ve always hated the notion that you cannot come to another country to do what you’ve studied for from a third world country but first worlders can do whatever they want.

All while filling in form that’s taking me 2 hours so far to do in English. And to top it off the English test takes 10 minutes and apparently they just chat with you to see if you can speak English. Just shoot me now

Moving countries is such a scam. I paid £50 to do a life in the UK test which I wrote in English now I must go do an English test that will cost me £160 because it’s cheaper then converting my degree that I did in English that would’ve been £270 to prove that I know English.

My colleagues that are leaving at the end of the month added me to a group called “EX (work name) YIPPEE” so they can tell me how great their next job is. 🫩 2 of them at the same time leaving me stuck here 🫠

Why when you msg a Brit asking if they arrived home ok. It’s weird? Like why wouldn’t I ask my colleague that said after recovering from chemo she gets dizzy when driving long distance. If she arrived home fine today after our training that took place hour and a half away?
