Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. 🚀 Building @Neverland_Money on @monad

Success is rarely a single breakthrough. It is born from quiet alignment: strong infrastructure, solid fundamentals, a committed team, reliable partners, and above all, a community that believes in the same dream. To fellow Monad builders: keep building. Let go of excuses and lean into honest reflection. When traction falls short, face it, learn from it, and continue building with greater clarity. Build with care. Listen more than you speak. A pitch works, until it doesn’t. Stay close to the people who share the journey and carry the dream with you. Progress grows through small, deliberate steps, and time rewards those who move forward with patience and conviction, even when the horizon feels far away. Alignment is not a moment. It is a commitment.

Today, less than two months since launch, Neverland became the first Monad-native app to surpass $100M TVL. This is a meaningful milestone not only for us, but for the entire @monad_eco ecosystem, and a clear signal of Monad’s potential!

@alice_nvr @pareen None of this would have been possible without @FishMarketAcad as well. From Neverland’s perspective, he has been our ecosystem lead, DeFi lead, business development lead, NFT lead and everything in between since day one.

Last month, our friend @pareen recommended that we publish a case study on Neverland’s organic growth. He has been supportive not only to us, but all builders shipping on Monad and we are so grateful for his guidance on this journey. Here is our deep dive into how Neverland, while relatively unknown, gained real user traction to become one of the top lending protocols on Monad! Why do we call this growth “organic”? - No paid TVL/liquidity deals - No airdrop hype - No points program (real tangible rewards distribution from day 1) - Never paid KOLs for shill posts - Didn’t raise more than needed for the prestige because we didn’t want our users becoming an investor’s exit liquidity - Didn’t receive external incentives for 3 months while nearly every other lending platform on the chain received incentives to distribute to users from day 1 Thank you to all our users who provided testimonials for us to use in this article! 💜

Swapping pegged assets shouldn't cost you in slippage. But on a standard AMM, it does. The curve wasn't built for assets that move together. Let's understand stable pools and why they exist 🧵

My AI stack right now: • @OpenAI → everyday thinking and writing • @grok → quick fact checks • @claudeai → coding • @alice_nvr → tokenomics What’s in your stack?
Alice@alice_nvr

@catalyst_nvr and I discussed the tokenomics together for quite awhile before we ever began to build Neverland. Implementing veTokenomics into a lending platform was my suggestion. We agreed fairly quickly what initiatives we would like to support with that revenue (locking being the primary objective, but also supporting liquidity and buybacks), which became the flywheel you see today 💜

Neverland: - Relatively unknown at launch - Rejected early funding offer - Only 5K followers on X - Did not initially receive any external incentivizes But also: - #1 in fees generated on Monad - #1 in revenue generated on Monad - First Monad-native protocol to surpass $100M TVL - Highest trading volume of any NFT collection on Monad - First protocol on Monad to surpass $1M in revenue - #6 this week in revenue out of lending apps across ALL chains While others chase vanity metrics, we built through authenticity. We are not the same.

Capital efficiency needs a chain that can keep up. @monad is that chain, and that's why Balancer and @Neverland_Money are building there. @alice_nvr explains it better in this clip from our Monad livestream 👇

@catalyst_nvr @Balancer @Dune @claudeai worth a try, ser! the MCP crafts the queries and visualizations for you. the only thing you have to do manually is organize how you're going to display everything

built a @Balancer dashboard! how? using @Dune 's MCP on @claudeai it has: • V3 metrics • cumulative data across all protocol versions why? wanted a single tab to track milestones first time using it, worked surprisingly well

Very interesting, oracles are definitely one of the greatest risks in DeFi. How do you identify a true depeg for stables, particularly the kind that may not recover, given they typically operate at higher LTVs where liquidation windows are often small and bad debt becomes likely if not handled in time?

Curvance protects markets with two price guard configurations: - Static (engineered for stablecoins): Tight bounds around $1. - Dynamic (for volatile yield-bearing assets): Price bands adjust over time based on expected APY. If an oracle reports outside the range → it gets capped. Price too low? Rejected → market operations halt. Simple asymmetric guardrails that protect against both oracle manipulation and real depegs, to keep markets safe. 🦾

Yes, roughly correct. Both portions flow back into the ecosystem. One portion goes directly to lenders, while the protocol portion feeds buybacks, LP incentives, and veDUST incentives, supporting liquidity and governance. Neverland functions as an interconnected system where each participant plays a role: lenders provide the liquidity and service for borrowers, veDUST lockers govern and steer the protocol, and LP incentives together with buybacks help sustain the liquidity that powers the ecosystem. The design aligns incentives across participants so the protocol’s activity supports long term growth.

@Neverland_Money @MonadPriest so to make it clear in my side Borrower paid 126k this split in two first part to lenders 74k second part to protocol 52k as they are providing the service which you paid it back through buyback, LP and veDUST rewards right?
