@Diablo89122 What are we arguing about? I never said Duke’s schedule wasn’t good or tough. But it wasn’t “the best I can recal” as Adam claimed. It was ranked 18th by kenpom I believe. I get it - you’re a Duke guy and you’re a little sensitive after that choke job.

@catamount96 So you're going to dismiss Kansas, Michigan St, Michigan, Arkansas, Texas Tech, Florida, Texas? Also, Louisville, UNC, UVA, Clemson were top 25 teams (or at least top 35 in total). Played UVA and UNC twice. SMU made the tourney. And yes, I coached college ball.

All year, I said Duke had three things to overcome… 1-Not an elite athletic team. 2-Inconsistent 3-point shooting. 3-Lacked elite point guard play (same with last year’s team). Won 35 games in spite of that against one of the best schedules I can recall. But 👇

Duke recruited the best freshman 4 times in past 7 years. But Cooper Flagg and Paolo Banchero lost in Final Four; Zion Williamson and now Cameron Boozer didn't even get that far. Why? Because Duke's not covering itself at the most important position. sportingnews.com/us/ncaa-basket…

@Diablo89122 @AGoldFan The conference “not being great” is the bulk of their schedule, and they played 6 teams out of the top 200. That is not “one of the best schedules I can recall”. And no, I never coached bball at that level. What about you, “Diablo89122”???

@catamount96 @AGoldFan Ehh, Pitino made the same claim about Duke's schedule prior to their game with St. Johns. They had the most Q1 wins in the country--yes, the conference wasn't great but when healthy they beat 35 out of 38 teams. Have you coached before?

When Calipari was at Kentucky, the narrative of choking in the NCAAT with elite freshmen was pushed every year. Duke has had the most talented roster multiple times, with multiple #1 picks, for the better part of a decade and have failed to capitalize. Where is the same energy?

@AGoldFan He has underachieved in the tourney based on seeding and talent. The tourney is how these coaches are judged, fair or unfair. And rhe ACC has been down. (But the Hubert part of his tweet is dumb).

The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources. 1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks. 2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently. 3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.
