Dweeb is at UC Davis and is getting his surgery tomorrow! They're going to do their best to fix his poor jaw. Here's a treat - he had buttons for 48 hours 🥹 The first surgeon applied button sutures just to hold his jaw together until he could get what he really needs at UCD.

Hello everybody 👋 Sorry we aren’t on here much at the mo I’ve been very poorly you see I had a serious flare up of my urinary tract disease & we found out my kidneys aren’t working too well now either I’m ok but I don’t like this getting older friends Oliver Munchkins 💗

@MakarMargaret Yeah but she just does this thing where you don’t even see her but just hear those little grunts. Had it before on a Saturday morning. Kept hearing it, look over the edge of the bed and there she sat, in judgement.

@MalikAlyza Oh sweetheart, they didn’t put her down, they set her free. We lost our Jack to fluid in the lungs and cancer. They drown whilst still alive. Am heartbroken for you that you weren’t there when it happened but grateful your husband was that familiar face in the room.

My sweet girl went for a routine vet procedure and didn’t come home.. I am shattered and I can’t stop crying. Yesterday my husband took our two cats to the vet for blood work for my cat Idris so she could come in for a teeth cleaning and my other cat Pinecone just needed some vaccines. I was at home with out daughter and the visit was taking a long time. He text me and told me that she was super distressed (like she often is at the vet, especially with bloodwork) so they wanted to observe her until she calmed down. Well, she did with a bit of sedation but she still wasn’t breathing properly. They did an xray and found her lungs full of fluid and cancer. They put her down right there while I wasn’t there. She was only 10 and seemed fine. She was my little cuddly stalker, often following me around the house just to see where I was sitting down next. When he came home and I asked where Idris was, he started crying and told me. It still doesn’t feel real. She was sitting on me this time yesterday. I miss her so much and I don’t know how to cope.

I Just want to give everyone an update on Nova. She stopped eating last night. She never refuses food. I knew something was wrong but was second guessing myself. Maybe she has a tummy ache? Before I went to bed last night I couldn’t find her. She wouldn’t come when I called her name. She never does that. So I knew something was definitely wrong. I found her under the bed hiding which she never does. This morning when I got up to feed the cats Nova didn’t move a muscle. She couldn’t really move She didn’t eat her breakfast and didn’t drink any water. I knew I had to take her. I scooped her up and took her to her normal vet. They did blood work and I got the worst news ever. She has pancreatitis and I caught it super early, but not just pancreatitis but also extreme glucose levels in her blood. The vet also took a urine sample and said if there is glucose in her urine she needs to be hospitalized with supportive care. Sure enough she had extreme high amounts of glucose in her urine. In cats this is an emergency and can be deadly if not treated properly. I scooped Nova up and drove to the nearest Animal Emergency. They quoted me $4800 for 3 days of hospitalization but I can’t afford that so we opted to keep her 24hrs with supportive care to see if she improves and we can make a decision from there. I just got an update from the hospital. She’s doing good and getting her medications and fluids and is sleeping. Please send some prayers. One of the major pet insurance companies has a competition to find new faces for their website. I had to submit Hannah and sent in these 2 photos. She is just SO beautiful in such a soft, feminine kind of way.

@ChysaiVT Agreed. Am grateful prices are nothing like that in the Netherlands and all our kids, even Hannah at 12 years old, have insurance.

Dayan so loves her dad. Every evening, he sit in the corner and she’ll come and snuggle up to him, a ritual I never tire of seeing. Just gently purring and chatting and snuggling. #rescuecat #adoptdontshop #cat #tabby

HELP! Is there anyone in direct contact with @gwen9244 I placed a vistaprint order and it was sent to the last address used, which is hers!! I did dm her as driving past her tomorrow but will then head back to the Netherlands and not heard from her. I don’t need her phone number. If you can just let her know?
