@hopelesshousfan The world says it’s not. Keep clinging, little man.

@hopelesshousfan Someone has to remind you that your 2017 isn’t real. You’re welcome.

@MooneyOwnsYou @morasee I’m flying in from Texas. Should I just have the plane land in the parking lot?
English

@morasee If you’re not there already, you’re probably screwed.
English

@user7506032 @g00dyearpimp Sounds rough. How’d that year turn out for them?
English

@g00dyearpimp The Los Angeles Dodgers' worst loss of the 2025 season was a historic 18-1 blowout by the Houston Astros on July 4, 2025, marking the worst-ever loss at Dodger Stadium.

THIS ISN'T GREAT NEWS:
26 passengers got off the Hantavirus cruise ship 12 days ago. 7 of them have come to the United States since then. Arizona, California, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia.
medpagetoday.com/special-report…
"More than two dozen passengers potentially exposed to hantavirus aboard a cruise ship disembarked almost 2 weeks ago, several sources confirmed to MedPage Today, and Americans who were among them are now back on U.S. soil.
A total of 26 passengers disembarked the MV Hondius at St. Helena on April 24, several sources confirmed to MedPage Today.
There are about seven Americans who disembarked at that time and have since returned to the U.S., and states have been working to track them down for testing and monitoring, according to sources with close knowledge of the situation.
They say the passengers live in several states, including Arizona, California, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia.
A spokesperson for the California Department of Public Health told MedPage Today that it was "notified by the CDC of California residents that were onboard the cruise ship that had passengers infected with hantavirus."

@Klein25 Better than watching a franchise pay for its World Series wins. Real loser shit, ironically.
English

@LAtweets22 Yep. Sad but true. He just needs to get truly comfortable with the routine and his mechanics-and he can do that with less pressure at AAA.
English

@Sayitliketheym1 @Klein25 It serves the purpose of not burning our bullpen.
English

@Klein25 Having him in AAA serves no purpose. The hitters aren't good enough there to justify him really learning anything

I genuinely — and I do mean genuinely — feel sorry for all those who could watch watch this and see it as anything less than the most perfect goodbye to Luke possible. This is what you get when a filmmaker has something to say that’s louder than what the studio has to sell.

Luke Skywalker’s stand on Crait in The Last Jedi (2017) had the whole theater locked.

Death Star got destroyed
Nate@dodgernate
Dodgers got the Death Star lined up to face the fish 😭
English

@MooneyOwnsYou Yep. He would then be bitching about the ones where 25.1 percent of the ball touched the zone. After all, it was only a strike by .1 under his new threshold.
English

I've seen too many of these types of takes. And not one of them make sense really.
Matthew Lee Rosen@MatthewLeeRosen
In this instance, less than 0.5% of the ball has actually touched zone. It does't seem justifiable to reverse the umpire's call. The ABS system calculates inches & surface data. I think the rules should be adjusted, so that 25% of the ball must be in the zone for a strike.
English

@LAtweets22 Always has been. Dude learned every position they asked him to. Went through some rough patches as anyone would but then turned himself into a solid defender so he could stay with the team and in the lineup. And kept mashing. Absolute Dodgers lynchpin.

"is it possible that after all this time, Muncy is simply underrated?"
Yes.
Mike Petriello@mike_petriello
Wrote about Max Muncy (the LA) one, who has been around for so long that he shared lineups with Puig & Kemp, but who after all this time, has spent the last year being a top-10 hitter -- and it's probably not really just "the glasses." --> mlb.com/dodgers/news/m…
