One of the things ACP said that struck us was rebranding communist back as an ideology - to its literal roots, which highly compatible w/ disgruntled rural & everyday labor class aka the "baskets of deplorables". Socially conservative often (but not required), family oriented, often religious w/ an anti-capitalist / anti-fascist framework. This is a lot more welcoming of a pitch than the goofball goth parking lot rave furry energy we seen the last few years.
