Just tried to buy a gift voucher for a restaurant, £75 worth. When I got to the checkout the charge was £90 which they said was vat? So basically paying £90 for £75?! Can they legally do that?

@GavinReno But the voucher would be for £62.50 not £75. That's my point, paying for £90 worth but only getting a voucher for £75!
