i find it frustrating how people will say they're anti-censorship or that "fiction is fiction" and in the same breath imply that you cannot (or should not) write certain topics unless you 1. have firsthand experience, or 2. handhold the reader to understand the nuance.

@l_uwu_ke i thought there was a difference jfjsj like branworms are “this idea is burrowing in my brain so i can’t stop thinking about it” and plot bunnies are “this plot idea keeps growing i can’t stop creating new details for it” or something, but i guess those are functionally the same
